A sneak peek inside my beauty closet: eyeshadow palettes

Hello everyone! We're continuing the "sneak peek inside my beauty closet" series with the next subject: palettes! I love palettes just because they have a lot of colours and there are multiple looks you can make with one palette.
Palettes are my thing, I love them. It's quite obvious that I have a huge palette collection. Want to take a look?

The first brand that I have quite a few palettes of is Catrice. They have a bunch of amazing palettes that have good pigmentation and are budgetproof! I keep collecting!

Next I have my palettes by H&M. I can't really say if I'm disappointed by H&M or if I like it, simply because some colours look better than others. I think the quality could/should get a little better.

This palette is a palette that I got at Paris in New Look. It's from a collection that Kelly Brook did with them. Sadly, this palette is a huge disappointement! The black isn't really even black, the shimmery colour payoff sucks, I mean...

I also tried out a couple of NYC palettes. I have a palette with darker colours that also holds a highlighter and an eyeshadow base, I love that! The colour pay off is nice. So is the colour pay off of the other palette, which is a more neutral one.

Onto my more expensive palettes, of which I only own two! The first one is my Nude 'Tude palette by The Balm (you guys have heard about this palette many many times before) and a MAC palette that is only half filled. The colours I put in that palette are "Honey Lust" (gold) and "Bronze" (brown).

I have three "bigger" palettes with quite a few colours. The first one is by Body Collection, which was a really cheap purchase but the quality is rather good. Next I have my two huge palettes by ELF. They're the 144 bright eyeshadow palette and the 144 neutral eyeshadow palette. I also have one by Claire's.

Another disappointment, unfortunately, is this palette by Covergirl. The pigmentation looks okay when you swatch on your hands or your wrists but I have a very hard time getting any colour on my eye. It just doesn't work.

Next I have a couple of Essence palettes. The quality and price is very similar to Catrice.

I especially love the Essence quattro palettes, they hold the most beautiful colours!

EOTD: A little bit of everything!

Hello you guys! Have you seen my post about favorite Youtubers? Today, my eye of the day is inspired on one of "Alisonlovesjb"'s latest videos! It's a pink/gold/burgundy look that I like a lot! Since I don't have the palette that she is using, I used other palettes (and other colours that I thought were pretty).

 For this look, I used my Calvin Klein cream eyeshadow in "Cashmere plum", my ELF 144 piece bright eyeshadow palette and my Nude 'Tude palette by The Balm.

I love this look a lot! I think it's quite beautiful, especially for the jolly holidays! I think I might actually wear this on Christmas! Well, whatever I wear or do on Christmas, I will most likely share!

My Weekly Diary: exam style!

Hello everyone. Since I haven't done a Weekly Diary in two weeks, I wanted to do a big one right now. The pictures in these posts are taken from the 5th of December until the 17th, so, the two weeks that I had examens.

Easy hairstyles, I love it, especially during exams. Braiding, sleeping, fabulous do in the morning!

I don't know if my first exam (economy) was really easy or if I just studied really well, but wow it went so good! I was really happy!

Even though the exams were going on, I decorated my room (during the study breaks) with a couple of Christmas lights.

On Friday afternoon I decided not to study and go to a couple of shops with my dad. I explained it in another post but I asked for fish and my dad kept on saying "no". After that he said I could have fish if I cleaned up my room (which was pretty clean already so I didn't have much work left), I cleaned a bit and the next day we went to get fish. 

Even though I only wanted two or three, dad gave me six (they're quite little so the fish tank was big enough for all six). One of them had an infection and started to behave really bad the second day. He couldn't swim up to the surface anymore and he also didn't eat anymore. After laying on his side and occasionally flipping over on his back, breathing really fast and seperating himself from others, we decided to not let him suffer any longer. I cried.

Studying! 

 

In our geography course we had a chapter on christals. I didn't think anything was really fascinating except for that chapter. I have a couple of christals myself so I decided to put them beside me while studying (as support?), just because I was in the mood for it.

Whoa that last picture where Hitler is standing in front of the Eiffel Tower is quite creepy. I didn't there was a picture of him there.... And I kind of stood in the exact same spot....

Treat yourself!

During breaks I also made looks and filmed tutorials. Unfortunately, the two tutorials I filmed can't be used. One of them had bad lighting and in one of the videos my camera wasn't focussing. Such a shame! 

There was also a night were I was editing a video and suddenly the program (that had been working super slow that day, I had been trying to edit for four hours!) shut down. Damn.

That's about it! The day before yesterday I finished my exams and started working again. Yesterday I had quite an unproductive day, I literally just hung around the house and today I'm going to see a play with school, it's manditory. Tomorrow, I get my report card. Gosh, I'm so nervous!

EOTD: Forest Greens

Hi guys! The other day I was filming a tutorial on this look. Excited as I was, I started up my computer and imported all the shots and then I realised... My camera wasn't focusing the whole time. I hate it when that happens, especially since I should have been studying for the exams that day (you know me, I always think about my readers)! 

So today I have the pictures of this look. It's a look with a lot of green, I've mentioned briefly in a previous post a few months back that I wanted a nice green eyeshadow to make looks with so now that I have a couple of greens that I like....

This look reminds me of nature a lot. It's not something I would wear on a daily basis (I don't love green thàt much) but I do think it's nice for a change.

Vintage haul part 2

This girl right here is so excited for spring and summer! Over these last few weeks, I've collected a couple of skirts and dresses (all pin-up style) that are so incredibly adorable and beautiful! I have put up a post not so long ago showing you a couple of skirts that I got, today it's time to take a peek at two other dresses that arrived!
In these pictures I'm actually wearing the dresses, they're not on my mannequin. What do you like to see most: clothes on the mannequin or clothes on me? Let me know!

Both of the dresses that I got are by Hell Bunny and they're both light blue. I really love bright colours and patterns in the spring and summer, it feels and looks refreshing in my opnion! Ok so here is the first dress (I also have a skirt with thesame pattern that you have seen in outfit posts before!).

The next dress that I got is a halter dress, it's blue as well and it's got parrots on it. It's by Hell Bunny as well! They also had this kind of yellow colour that I really liked but someone got the last item just before I wanted to order it so yeah.
