Our new apartment ❤

Goodmorning everyone! Time for some lifestyle today!
I think it's been a couple of months since I've told you that I would move into a new apartment with my boyfriend.
We have worked our butts of to get everything done and I can finally say that we are ready to show it to the world!

Because you are a big part of my world, I wouldn't have found it fair to keep this from you so.... here are some pictures of our new place.

Our apartment is mostly white and beige, but the dinner table and the many plants that we have break that a little bit.
We chose green chairs to match all the plants we have and make the place look less like a clinic. Colourful flowers spice up our space.

Our bookcase is divided into a part of books and a part of special gins and other drinks. One of my passions and one of my boyfriend's passion (collecting special gins). We also have a couple of candles and pictures of ourselves in the bookcase, and two christal souvenirs from Disneyland.
Our favourite part of the house: the bathroom with a rainshower and a glass wall! We feel like we live in a hotel!
There are some things that I decided not to take photos of, for example our seperate rooms (I have a dressing and my boyfriend has a 'mancave'-) and our main bedroom. Just because some things need to be kept private. I hope (and think) you'll understand.

I hope you enjoyed this more personal update! See you soon!

EOTD: experimenting

Goodmorning everybody!
About a week ago I uploaded an 'eye of the day' called "Dory vibes" (click here to go to that post). In that post I focussed on eyeliner dots on the outer corner. I decided to experiment with the eyeliner again, but I used it on the inner corner this time.

This look is - just like the one in this post - inspired by the beach. The blue eyeliner represents the ocean and my orange eyeshadow with gold and yellow spots of eyeliner, represents the sand and the sun.

I used eyeshadows from the Flawless 2 palette by Revolution (click here for the review) and the Salted Caramel palette by I heart make-up (read more here).
My eyeliners are Miss Sporty (click here for the review) and Essence (click here).

I enjoyed playing around with this look, although I would have loved a brighter orange in my inner corner.
What do you think?

Manicure Monday: Eclectic blue

Goodmorning everyone! Welcome to Manicure Monday!
This week has been incredibly hot and although I'm not a big fan of the heat, I am a big fan of the sun. I love waking up in a room where the sun peaks through the curtains already, I love seeing ladies in floral skirts and with a big hat on when I look out of my apartment window. I love how everyone is in a good mood when the sun's out and I love how vibrant everything looks.

This week's manicure is very vibrant as well. I got a new Essence nail polish called "Eclectic Blue", which looks like the sky on a summerday.
Not bad if you ask me! I have reviewed plenty of Essence nail polishes and thesame counts for this one: This nailpolish is very affordable (€1.69) and two or three layers will give you the perfect coverage. If you're in water for a long time though, they will flake.

I hope you enjoyed this post! See you soon!
Have a lovely Monday!

EOTD: Beachy

Summer has officially started. I have been enjoying the sun and the beach lately and got some inspiration for a make-up look from that. Today's look represents the beach and the sea. I created it using the I heart make-up "Salted Caramel" make-up palette.

The gold and the brown on my eyelid represents the sand on the beach and the sun in the sky. The bright blue eyeliner on my lower waterline represents the sea.

Here are two full face pictures. What do you think of this look?

You can find more pictures and see more updates on my Instagram. Some of them don't get featured on here so make sure to check it out!

Have a lovely day!

EOTD: Dory vibes

Goodmorning! Here I am again with a bit of a crazy 'eye of the day'.
When I moved into my new apartment with my boyfriend, I got my very own vanity. I've never had one before but I've always wanted one so that was very exciting for me.
The last couple of weeks I have been organising all my make-up and going through all my stuff, I realised I forgot some of the products.

For example, I didn't know how many different coloured or glitter eyeliners I had. I was immediately inspired to do something crazy. I created an eyelook with one pop of colour (the yellow winged eyeliner) and placed teal, blue and purple dots all around it.

This look reminds me of Dory from Nemo a little bit. It isn't something that I would wear to a job interview, but it's fun to experiment every once in a while.

What do you think of this look?

I ♥ Make-up Salted Caramel palette review!

Hello, my name is Eva-Lynn and I'm addicted to make-up palettes that look like chocolate.

It all started with a make-up palette called "Naked Chocolate", that I got in Madrid. It looked like a white chocolate bar and I just thought it was so cute. The eyeshadows in the palette turned out to be really beautiful and work like a dream. It's no surprise when I found the next palette in the series, I just had to have it.

This palette is called the "Salted Caramel" palette. It looks thesame as the first palette, but the colours are different. This palette is dark brown with a half melted milk chocolate bar on top.

The eyeshadows inside the palette are a lot darker than the eyeshadows in the first palette. There are also a few more "risky" shades in here. Aside from several different shades of brown, there's also a babypink, gold, orange and blue eyeshadow in this palette.

Here are some swatches of the colours in the palette. The darkest of all the eyeshadows do give a bit of fall out and the baby pink needs to be built up. All the other shades do quite well. I think they look really good.

I've been experimenting with make-up looks and I will have different options online soon. Until then, I hope you enjoyed this post and hope to welcome you back soon!

Have a good day!

OOTD: Dusty Pink

Hello lovelies and welcome to a new post! I have finally moved out of my old home and into a new one with my significant other. It's been a lot of work and putting furniture tigether aftwer finiqhing work at 4 in the morning is very tiring, but I couldn't be happier.

Last week I went to a party and I'd like to show you the outfit I wore that day! The dresscode was pink. I went for this lovely maxi dress by H&M and added matching shoes. My blazer is by Moggys.

I had so much fun and actually swung again. It's been years and I felt like a little girl again. The kid in the picture is my best friend's daughter. It was her party and she looked absolutely stunning!

I hope you're having a really good day! See you soon!
