Latest Obsession: Bobble! ♥

Hello!
How are you doing?

I don't think I've talked about "Bobble" on this blog before, but it's time I talk about it now. I was looking for a waterbottle to take to school with me (because I'm trying to drink more water) and I found this bottle online.

This is a waterbottle made out of hard plastic with a filter in it, so when you drink tap water from this bottle, it will filter while you're drinking.
The filter can have multiple colours, I chose a pinkish purple. The filter has to be replaced after 300 bottles (or about 2 months).

I think this water bottle is so cute. It's small enough to fit in my purse and refilling is easy because tap water is easy enough to get anywhere.

I paid €9.99 (+ sending). It's good for the environment and I will be able to save money!

Have a good day!

OOTD: Casual rockabilly!

Hello you guys!

Ever since I've lived alone, it's become easier for me to take pictures. I have a whole wall to take pictures in front of and the lighting is practically always good!
Today's outfit is an outfit I wore last week. It was a bit colder that day so I decided I wanted to wear pants, but I wanted to keep a vintage feel to it.

These jeans are just basic skinny jeans but I decided to cuff them so that they look more vintage. I put on a striped sweater because stripes and dots are always your friends (especially as a vintage girl).
Then I just added a beige cardigan and a tiny little belt.
A scarf in my hair (it sounds weird but it looks pretty good), shoes on and you're ready to go!

  • Scarf (in my hair): New Look
  • Sweater: H&M
  • Cardigan: H&M
  • Belt: H&M
  • Jeans: H&M
  • Shoes: New Look
  • Watch: New Look

What do you think of this outfit?
Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoy your day!

Weekly Diary

Happy Sunday!
How has your week been? This week has been so, SO much fun for me! Last week was pretty cool because I moved out and went to school for the first time, but this week was really exciting because I did a lot of cool things and I actually attended classes for the first time.
At first I felt like my head was exploding because we got so much information, but so far I've been enjoying it!

Living on my own is feeling pretty damn good right now, I'm used to handling my own business such as doing the dishes and grocery shopping by now! I'm also "getting to know" the city I live in, which is amazing!

In school, a lot of exciting things are going on as well! I'm getting to know all of my fellow students (some of us already went out to get Starbucks together), but I also got some assignments already!
I actually got to teach for the first time last week! It was only 5 minutes and it was unannounced so I freaked a little, but I did well!

And you know what's the best part? School usually doesn't even start until after 10 am!

work work work!!
That's about it for this week!
How have you been?

Loving Lately ♥ Fruit Water ♥

Hey you guys!
Have I told you about my newest obsession yet? Fruit water!

Even though it's really popular, I have never tried it before, however lately I've been wanting to try it out.
I've been looking up a couple of recipes lately and I got so, so excited! Naturally, I got myself a couple of glass jars and I started making fruit water!
I have another blogpost coming up with my favourite recipes, so if you're interested, make sure you visit my blog these next few weeks!

The fruit water is a good, healthy alternative for soda (and it's really yummy!), and besides all that, it also looks really good!
Seeing a lot of colour in my drink makes me really happy, it gets me in the mood for a healthier lifestyle!

Here are a couple of recipes already that I found on Tumblr. All the other pictures that I used in this post today are also by Tumblr.

I'll keep you posted! Don't forget to check back for more fruit water recipes!
Have a good day!

EOTD: Deep blue

Happy Friday you guys!
I have the best TGIF make-up look this week! Are you ready? Keep reading!

I - once again - experimented with the colour "Deep truth" by MAC. I have talked about it a couple of times before and I'm still very much in love with it!

This is what I did with it: I used it to create a smokey eye!
Now don't worry, the colour is as vibrant and beautiful in real life as in the pictures taken with my flash on. The natural light (I sit in front of a window to take all my pictures) just makes it look lighter than it actually is.

I applied "Deep Truth" all over my lid after applying eyeshadow base and a coat of white eyeliner (to make the colour pop).
Next, I put a light brown in my crease, went over it with "Espresso" by MAC and blended everything out. Once I was happy with the way it looked, I decided it wasn't dark enough so I darkened it up using a black eyeshadow in the outer corner. I also applied kohl eyeliner to my waterline.

Products used:
  • Eyeshadow base by Essence (I ♥ stage eyeshadow base)
  • White pencil eyeliner by Essence
  • Light brown colour from my 144 colours palette by ELF
  • "Deep Truth" by MAC
  • "Espresso" by MAC
  • "Serious" by The Balm (Nude 'Tude palette)
  • Essence kohl black eyeliner
  • Essence mascara
Most of these products have been reviewed on my blog so if you'd like to know more about them, please feel free to search them in my search bar!

I'm quite happy with the way this look turned out. I might adjust it a little bit, maybe I'll put on some liquid eyeliner on top, I don't know yet.

What do you think?
Thanks for reading!

"Crossed" bookhaul!

Happy Thursday!
Welcome back! How's life?

I have been living a pretty normal life. Reading books in school, and reading books at home! Of course books don't last forever, so I have to get new ones!
That's what I did! I told you about the "Matched" series by Ally Condie before. Maybe you've read them yourself (if so, please let me know what you think of this series).

I'm currently reading the first one (Matched) but I also purchased the third book (Reached). Now, I can't continue this series if I don't have the second book, can I? Ive been looking for it for quite a while, but I couldn't find it (just like I couldn't find the first one for a really long time), so I decided I'd order it!

It finally arrived! I have no idea what's going to happen in this book, but I know I can't wait for whatever adventure is coming my way!
By the way, am I the only one who LOVES the covers of these books? They are so simple, but so pretty! I know you're not supposed to judge a book on it's cover, but a pretty cover always helps!

I'll keep you posted!

OOTD: First day of school!

Hello everyone!
I've had a good and a long summer, but school has started up for me as well!
This new schoolyear brought a lot of excitement, but this "first day of school outfit" made me freak out a little. I didn't know if I wanted to wear jeans, or go for my pin-up outfit - which would probably make me look like "the weird kid". It's something I have always struggled with and I will probably continue to struggle with it. It isn't easy.

But I thought I should be loyal to myself. There's no point in waiting, there's no point in crawling in a hole, because I know that if I crawl in a hole, I'll never come out of it.
So dispite fear or anxiety, I decided I should just give it a try.... Here's my outfit!

The weather was crazy, it was so hot outside!
I put on one of my favourite skirts by Hell Bunny (pin-up brand ♥). My watch is by New Look. The flowers in my hair, my bun, my shoes, my T-shirt (and a grey cardigan that's not in the picture) are by H&M.

What do you think of this outfit?

Thanks so much for reading today!

Have a good day!

FOTD: Purple Rain

Hey you guys!
Today I have a face of the day. Last week I had to go grocery shopping, but I felt in the mood for something different. So instead of putting a lot of effort in my eye make-up, I decided I'd spice up my lips for a change!

I have to admit I actually really like this look. It's quite simple, yet special! I used my NYX "Purple Rain" lipliner and my Estée Lauder "Violet Crush" lipstick!
As for the eyes, I just lined my waterline using an Essence kohl pencil. My mascara is also by Essence.

What do you think?
Have a lovely day!

Weekly Diary

Hello everyone!
Happy Sunday! How has your week been?
I've been so, so busy, but it has all been very exciting!

I moved out! I have announced that I was moving on my blog before, but it was only Friday before this week that I got my key. So I have been moving for the most part of this week, and I've also been staying at the studio. I love it so far. My roommate moved in a little later, so I thought I'd spend my morning making a "Welcome home" sign!

I also have to be responsable for myself now that I live on my own, which is turning out pretty good. But then again, I've only lived here for about a week or so! I have actually been cooking which is something I don't do because.. Well because I can't but I've mastered spaghetti and rice with chicken.Well hey, I haven't starved yet!

In the meantime, I have explored the city. I actually met some interesting people on the bus this week as well! I rarely talk to people on the bus because I don't want to annoy them, but I love it when someone randomly starts a conversation.
Put away that phone and make contact in real life!

On Thursday, school started back up for me. It's so weird, I'm the youngest one in school again! I'm really looking forward to what life has in store for me this year.
So far, it really seems like I made a good choice. I'm really excited and ready to go for it 100%. All my teachers are such sweet and enthusiast people!

We actually had to listen to two people who were going to tell us more about the school on our first day and both the teachers were very funny, but I particularly loved it when one of the teachers said "You couldn't have picked a better subject to study, it's going to be so rewarding, I'm sure you'll love it! I know I still do".
That, my friends, is a good teacher! It made me feel really welcome and she made me even more excited!

Tomorrow is the first "real" day of school which means classes! I'm looking forward to it!
I'll update you next week!

Stay safe!
Have a good Sunday!

Lifestyle: Take a look inside my new home ♥

Hi!
How are you doing? I’m doing quite well!
As you know if you’ve followed my blog this last week, I have been moving out. Well, let’s say I’ve pretty much finished moving out!  I thought it’d be fun to take a little break from make-up reviews and show you around my new place instead!  Of course I’m not going to show you everything because… well, I like my privacy, but I hope you enjoy the pictures I decided I would share with you!

Have a really good day!
