Bloggersblock!

Goodmorning everyone! Good to see you again!
I've been dealing with a fair amount of bloggersblock recently.
What is bloggersblock, you ask? Let me tell you. It's thesame as writer's block, but for bloggers.

I want to have more fashion posts up (and I will too, soon hopefully), but would also like to experiment some more with make-up. I've seen some amazing make-up looks lately (thanks, Instagram!) and they have been inspiring me a bit. That's why I wanted to share them with you.
I have no idea who the make-up artists/bloggers/Instagrammers are that these looks belong to, but if you do, feel free to leave them in the comments below!

Thanks for reading!
See you soon!

TREND: Chokers!

Goodmorning everyone! How are you?
I'm doing really good, earlier this week I went shopping for new accessories and came home with four chokers. I think they can look so good and sophisticated.
However, the first place I went to someone told me it used to be a sign that you were a prostitute. Being the history lover that I am (and a fun fact lover too), I decided to do some research....

Chokers are to be found in all sorts of shapes and colours, and I love them. They were all over the catwalk and stars like Ariana Grande have been wearing them for a while now.
I'm crazy about the velvet black ones, but I also got a lace choker. So beautiful!

I got mine at Zara, H&M and Claire's.
Do you like chokers? Or are you no fan of this trend?

EOTD: Tight lines

Hello everyone! I'm back with a colourful make-up look!
I've used my colourful eyeliner again; four of them this time. I think I might try a cut crease with a bright colour later this week, but it still scares me a bit. I'm getting there though, don't worry!

Today's look is a take on what I did earlier. Just regular black eyeliner, but my glittery blue on from H&M (review here) on top of that.
Then I used my two Miss Sporty eyeliners to finish the look. You can find the review on those eyeliners by clicking the link right here.

I really like this look, because it's really just five minutes of work but everytime you look down, it's like a surprise pop of colour.

What do you think? Would you wear this out?

See you soon!

Manicure Monday: Love affair! ♥

Hello everyone! Manicure Monday's are quite rare on this blog, but when I put them online it means I'm really crazy about a nailpolish.

This is a new duochrome by Catrice. It's called "A pink love affair". I think it's such a pretty colour! Pink, but also blue, and purple in different lighting!  How can you not love that?

The nailpolish is quite sheer so you have to apply a couple of layers. I applied three layers to get this effect. I've also noticed that you have to be extremely careful when you're painting your nails because little bubbles or texture will show up ten times as easy as in a "normal" nailpolish.
It's so worth it though!

What do you think?

Cold sore solution!

Good afternoon everyone!
How have you been? I've been doing alright, except for one little problem, which I'm going to tell you about right now. Oh, and I'll also give you the solution to it rightaway. In case you need it.

Ever since I was a little kid, I have suffered from cold sores.
I get them two or three times a year, especially when I'm in a very stressful situation or when I'm very very tired.
These last few weeks have been crazy busy, I haven't been sleeping a whole lot (about 4 hours a night) and when my lip starts itching and I feel a cold sore coming up, I know it's time to slow down.

Having a body that tells you when to slow down is amazing, but the cold sores are not that amazing and I'd rather disappear. I went online and looked for some remedies, but couldn't really find anything helpful. Until I found a video on YouTube that wasn't too crazy, so I decided to try it.
(This works for me, so I'm just putting it out there as a tip for you fellow sufferers, I hope it works for you too but if it doesn't, don't shoot the messenger)

Your best friend is KETCHUP. I put some ketchup on my cold sore, which was about a day old I think, and instead of swelling more, it just disappeared after about two days.
Another nice trick I keep hearing about is tea tree oil, I'm not sure if it works though, because I haven't tried it yet.

I hope this helps some of you out as well as it has helped me out.
Thanks so much for reading, enjoy the sunny day!

EOTD: Lust

About a year ago, I got three Wet 'n Wild palettes.
I've been using my Vanity palette (which neutral colours) for everyday looks, but found the other two to be challenging. I use the palettes mainly because they have good transition colours or highlights, but I haven't tried to make a complete look using only one palette. Until now.

I used the palette called "Lust", which holds six shades and fice of them are pinks or purples. I decided to go for a smokey eyes, because the eyeshadows are pretty dark as it is. Want to see how it came out? Keep reading!

This is the look I made.
I decided to really focus the dark colours on my outer corner to create a bit of a cat eye, and skipped liquid eyeliner. Instead I made a thin line using the darkest eyeshadow.

Here's a full face!
Let me know what you think!

Essence 2 in 1 camouflage BB cream

BB cream has been a holy grail since it first started trending. I have tried many BB creams and loved a few very good ones.
Up until now Essence had a BB cream that made all my wildest dreams come true, but when I went to pick up a new one, I couldn't find it.

I did find this one, which had a similar packaging, and I think this is the "upgraded" BB cream. This BB cream is a 2 in 1 make-up ànd concealer BB cream. It should be high coverage, without being cakey - and longlasting.

No girl is ever happy with an acne breakout, except when she's a beautyblogger and she's about to test a new BB cream that claims to be 2 in 1!
In the picture below, I'm not wearing any make-up. As you can see, I've got a bit of acne and red spots that I'd like to cover up a bit.

This is what my face looks like when I've applied the BB cream.

This BB cream was a lot more beige than I expected, even though I didn't get the lightest colour. I guess that's for colour correction (making redness disappear and such).
You can't tell when you're done applying how beige it is though, it blends perfectly. The texture is a little bit thicker than what I'm used to, but the BB cream gives amazing coverage.

One remark I do have about this BB cream is that it's only available in three shades, so that might be a problem for some of you. I'm very pale so I always take the lightest or second to lightest shade.

This picture is the end result: BB cream and all the other face make-up, accompagnied by a nice smokey eye, of course!
I hope you enjoyed this review! See you soon!

Easiest back to school make-up look!

Goodmorning everyone!
How have you been? I hope my high school readers have had a great start of the first week of school, while college aged readers are still waiting for it to start.
In the meantime, I have possibly found the easiest back to school make-up look EVER. I'm a bit lazy myself so some weeks I go to class with nothing but mascara on. This look requires thirty more seconds of effort, but looks a ton better than just mascara (I think).

What I did to get this look:

Step 1: Get a pencil brush or eyeliner brush and pick a colour of eyeshadow you like. I liked my new "Beauty marked" eyeshadow by MAC, so I chose that.

Step 2: Apply on the lashline (and lower lashline if you like that, you can skip this step if your eyes are too sensitive and go in with a pencil eyeliner or just leave it bare) and then take a small blending brush to blend out the harsh line you just made.

Step 3: When you're happy with how the blended eyeshadow looks, you can go ahead and apply eyeliner and mascara. Eyeliner is optional, but I like to do this. You can create a small line, like I do, or winged eyeliner - however you like it best.

That's it! A three step make-up look!
Easy and quick, for early mornings when you want to snooze as long as you can! Tested, and approved ;) .

Have a nice day!

EOTD: Just like fire!

Goodmorning everyone!
How are you doing? It's September first, which means a lot of my readers are going back to school. I, myself, am lucky enough to have two more weeks before I go back to college.

Today's look is a look that I don't wear too often because it doesn't take much for the look to go wrong. I love playing with fire, and by that I mean fiery shades of eyeshadow - but they're sometimes hard to work with.
I have yet to find a good red eyeshadow, but that won't hold me back.

I used the pink, orange and copper eyeshadow from my MAC collection for this look.
- Paradisco
- Texture
- Coppering
- Bronze
- Espresso

Then I went ahead and applied liquid eyeliner - as usual - and some more eyeliner on my lower waterline (not so usual).
I do this because red shades can make you look very sick and applying black eyeliner 'neutralises' that a bit.
I  also applied the highlighter that I used on my face, on the entire inner corner!

And that's how you achieve this look!

Let me know what you think!
