Christmasproof and budgetproof lipsticks

The jolly holidays are coming up and as always, I'm going for a festive makeup look. Even though I wear lipstick on a daily basis, I also like to wear it on special occasions, such as Christmas.

Today I want to show you my red lipstick collection and give you a few recommendations, in case you're still looking for a lovely red lipstick.

Here you can see all the lipsticks, I have a couple of darker ones (berry) and a couple of really bright ones. The normal bright lipsticks I have and that I woul recommend are by MAC "Russian Red", Kate Moss for Rimmel London in 111 "Kiss of Life", Miss Sporty "Malaga". 

I also have a couple of lovely red lipglosses. The Essence stay matt lipcream in "Silky Red" and my Rimmel London Apocalips lip laquer in "The Big Bang" are my absolute favourites and they are christmasproof! They're also not expensive.

 

I only have two darker lipsticks. One is called "On the catwalk" by Essence and one is by Kate Moss for Rimmel London, it's called "107".

 "107" is slightly darker than "On the catwalk". Both of those lipsticks are in my heart haha, if you're wondering which one to get: Rimmel London is more 'expensive', Essence needs more touching up due to the creamy texture.

A sneak peek inside my beauty closet: lipsticks

Hello everyone! I'm back with another sneak peek inside my beauty closet! This time I'm going to show you one of my favourite parts: lipsticks. I have put them brand by brand so it's easier!

First I have my Bourjois lipsticks:
* Bourjois Shine Edition lipstick in "Famous Fushia"
* Bourjois Rouge Edition lipstick in "Violine Strass"

Next I have a bunch of Rimmel lipsticks. Two of them are by Kate Moss for Rimmel London, I love those lipsticks!
* Kate Moss for Rimmel London in "Kiss of life"
* Kate Moss for Rimmel London in "107"

Next I have a couple of budget lipsticks; the ones on the left (blue packaging) are by Miss Sporty and the ones on the right (black packaging) are by Catrice!

*Miss Sporty lipstick in "Pink Champagne"

*Catrice lipstick in "Pinkadilly Circus"
*Catrice lipstick in "Pink me up"

The other little part (with only two lipsticks) are my high end lipsticks. I have one by Estée Lauder and one by MAC.

My top three favourite lipsticks!

Hello lovelies! How are you doing?

I have three other Essence items to review but I thought that it would be nice to give it a break and upload them later, after all, too many reviews of thesame brand can get a little boring.

 

Today I'm going to show you my top three favourite lipsticks. They are probably not what you'd expect or what everyone would wear, but it's a matter of love it or hate it. I love it, that's for sure.

 

There's only one lipstick in this top three that's not high end and that's my red lipstick, it's by Kate Moss for Rimmel London and it's in the colour "111 Kiss Of Life" (on the right in the picture). I'm about to get another one of the Kate Moss lipsticks, I am obsessed with them! Not only do I like the packaging, the pigmentation is outstandig! I was actually surprised by how good it was! Rimmel really keeps on coming with amazing products lately; Rimmel, I love you!

The other two lipsticks that I have are high end lipsticks. They're actually the ony two high end products I have in my collection. The purple lipstick is by Estée Lauder, it's a matte lipstick and it's called "Violet Crush". I saw a review on another blog just a couple of days before I got this one and it looked so good on the blogger that I got it as well! I thought it would be too crazy, but people have been a lot more positive about it than I had expected!

The one in the middle is by YSL, it's the Volupté Sheer Candy Glossy Balm and this was actually my first high end purchase! At the time I wanted to play "safe" with the colour so I just got a lip balm. I've been quite afraid to use it the first months after getting it, because I didn't want to use it up rightaway. Haha, how silly, but still, I have this with all of my most beautiful/most loved products. Beauty blogger obsessions?

 I might get a fushia coloured lipstick by YSL as well, I love it!

Also, look at the packaging... Oh my ....
The packaging just screams "luxury" and I'm the kind of girl who really likes a product that looks nice. Well, I guess we all love products that look amazing, right?
