H&M Smoky eyes palette makeup look

Hello you guys! Back when I was in Paris (a little less than two months ago) I did a little bit of shopping. I got some stuff from H&M, including two makeup palettes; the "Nudes" palette and the "Smoky" palette. Today I'm going to show you a look I made with the Smoky eyeshadow palette.

The thing I like about this palette is that it holds a lot of brown toned colours. All the colours in this palette are colours that make blue eyes appear more blue, which is nice because I have blue eyes.

Like always, this look is darker in real life, it looks less dark because I take all the pictures in front of a window when the sun shines.
I used the "orange" colour all over my lid, the matt brown (second colour from the right) in my crease, the brown colour totally on the right in my outer "V" and the lightest colour (on the left) in my inner tear duct and on my brow bone as a highlighter.
I also used the darkest colour as a subtile eyeliner. You could always use liquid eyeliner if you want to, I didn't this time.

You can make the look darker by applying some of the dark brown colour on your lower lashline. I didn't because I have sensitive eyes. Other alternatives to make the look appear darker is to use liquid eyeliner on the upper lashline and black eyeliner on the waterline.

That's the look! I hope you like it! Thanks for reading!

Kelly Brook by New Look eyeshadow palette review + makeup look!

Hello you guys! How are you doing? I hope you're all doing okay.
Today I decided to make quite a long post for you guys! I'm going to be reviewing my Kelly Brook by New Look smokey eye makeup palette that I got when I was in Paris!
I'm also going to be showing you my look that I made with this palette, and a photo tutorial will be up soon!
I hope you guys enjoy!

I think the packaging of this palette is really pretty. The palette was in a tiny black box with gold letters on it. I usually don't take smokey eye palettes home easily (because I don't wear dark makeup often), but this one I couldn't resist. The palette also holds some colours that I don't have yet.

The palette itself doesn't really have anything on it. It's rather boring. I was surprised to see how big the eyeshadows were though.

And then the makeup look... As always I want to warn you that the colours look darker in real life. I take all of my pictures in front of a window, because I always try to use natural light, but it makes the eyeshadow look more neutral. It isn't.

That's it! Thanks for reading again today!

H&M 'Smoky' eyeshadow palette review

Hello you guys! Today I'm reviewing the second H&M makeup palette that I got in Paris.  Last month I reviewed the first palette by H&M, which was a palette called "Nudes". Click here to read the review - if you've read it, you'll probably know that I wasn't crazy excited about the pigmentation. I've used the already though.
Let's see if the pigmentation of these eyeshadows are better!

The packaging is thesame as the first palette, see through so that you know exactly what colours you're buying and if they would suit you. All warm colour (warm colours are colours such as brown, gold, beige,...) I have to be careful with colours that are too dark because I'm very pale and using colours that are too dark on a daily basis make me look.... worse!

The pigmentation of this palette is a little bit better. The lightest colours in the other palettes were barely visible whereas these colours don't look bad at all.
I think that's because the colours are darker than the "Nudes" palette eyeshadow colours. I haven't tried anything so far but I'm excited about it.
So yeah, I do think this palette looks better than the other one!

Eye makeup looks will be up soon!
