My first time....

I guess everyone is a little scared right before their first time... Right? I actually wasn't as nervous as I thought it would be... I taught English for the first time ever! And it was taped! I'm very happy with the feedback that I got (for a first time, it wasn't bad at all they said)!

 

I guess what I like about being a teacher is the ability to assist the art of discovering, but also the way in which you can inspire your students.
I have had some amazing teachers in high school (not all of them, but the ones who were special made up for the ones who weren't) and they've done such a good job that I decided I wanted their profession!


I thought it'd be a good idea to show you some of the quotes that keep me going or inspire me. Ready?

    First of all, congrats on teaching your first class! I'm glad you like your job, that's always great!

    Among these quotes the ones I like the most is the one by Heinlein..he is one of my favourite writers but I haven't heard that one before...
    when one teaches, two learn...so true.

    I've worked as an English teacher for a year (internship) and right now I'm looking for a job (I'm also a Croatian language teacher) with no success...

    I've heard it said that teaching is not a job but a calling. I think that is true...your heart must be in it...
