Q&A #1: The most asked questions answered!

Hello everyone! I hope you had a great day today. In this post, I'm going to answer some of the questions that I get asked a lot. It's a bit of a Q&A. I don't think I'll be doing this every month or so unless I get a lot of other questions after this post. These are just the most popular questions that I get asked a lot of times, so I thought, why not make a post of it?

What camera do you use?
Right now I'm using The Cyber-shot camera by Sony. It's just a hot pink digital camera with 14.1 megapixels. I'm still saving up for a SLR camera.

What's your favourite fashion book?
Hmm, I think I'd have to go for 'Style' by Lauren Conrad. She has a lot of good tips and beautiful pictures in the book.

Do you have a boyfriend?
No, haha, I don't. I do believe in love, I just haven't found it yet. I hope I will one day, I wouldn't want to spend the rest of my life without someone to share all of it with!

Who inspires you the most when it comes to fashion and beauty?
I think Kim Kardashian has a lovely style, also I like how she's not afraid to show curves, which to me is very important. But my biggest inspiration would have to be Marilyn Monroe. I love every side of her. I think she always looked very classy and she was always really nice to people. Those things are probably two of the most important things to me.

Marilyn Monroe in her unfinished last movie, "Something's Got To Give", 1962.

What's your favourite beauty item?
My YSL volupté glossy balm in "Sheer Candy".

How would you describe your style?
I don't really have a "style", I think. I love fashion too much to pick just one style. I could do it, but I'd never be able to hold on to it. There are a lot of different influences in my outfits. I love to just dress up and I always look as classy as possible. Sometimes I like a touch of vintage in my outfit, other days I just go with what I got.

Where do you get your daily fashion inspiration? Inspiration for trending items?
Besides the timeless Marilyn Monroe thing, I read lots and lots of blogs. I don't mean three, I mean like twenty five or something. A lot of those bloggers post outfit of the day pictures and they always look so nice! The outfits are very put together, they have the most wonderful items in their closets and they just look so perfect! Most of the inspiration I get, is from all these women! As for magazines, I only read Elle magazine and Marie Claire, so I'd have to say I get all my other inspiration from there.

What do you like to wear most?
Heels and dresses! I love it! To me, there's nothing more special than wearing something girly, classy and stunning. I feel a lot more confident when I know I can rock the outfit I'm wearing! Also, I have a curvy figure so I don't like tight T shirts and all that!

What is your dream job?
I would love to be a full time blogger or full time writer because blogging and writing are really my two biggest passions. There are lots of things that I love to do, but if I could make money with full time blogging, I think I'd be the happiest girl in the world!
(One of my other passions is interior designing, but I don't think I'd be good enough to do for living.)

What do you study?
I study business economy.

Why did you start blogging?
I was attracked by the idea of writing something on the internet that people could read. I just started out trying it and I kept on working on my blog when I found out I actually liked it!
After a while I got so used to blogging everyday that I wanted to keep on doing it. I liked it and it was a way for me to express myself.

It's hard to get along with empty hands, but once you have your daily readers the numbers just grow and grow, you get comments and people follow you. Once you're there it's a lot more fun because then you KNOW that people read.

What's your favourite subjet to blog about?
This blog is about everything that I love so I like writing about everything. Erm if I really had to choose, I'd say either outfit of the day posts or beauty/makeup reviews.

Do you earn any money with blogging?
No, at the moment, I don't. Not that I regret it. Blogging is a hobby for me now, when I turn 18 I might start earning money and it would be nice, but it's not what motivates me. Right now I'm just blogging because it's something that I really love to do.

Do people notice you? Do they know you're the blogger from FITD?
Most of the people, like friends, family or people from school know about my blog. As for random people when I go shopping, no, not really. Also, most of my visitors are from the US, so I never get to see them.
