MUA Cover & Conceal

 

Hello everyone!
How are you? I've had some time to go shopping this week! I needed new concealer and I got this "Cover & Conceal" concealer from MUA.
Since MUA became available in Belgium, I tried out some products. I liked most of them so I decided I should try out this MUA concealer as well!

The packaging of this product is quite simple. It's a plastic, white tube. The concealer applicator looks like a lipgloss applicator.
There are 3 colours available, I have the colour "fair", which is the lightest of the three colours. You should always keep in mind that a concealer should be one shade lighter than the colour of your foundation. If you use it under your eyes, it will brighten up the dark eye area.

This concealer isn't as high coverage as I wanted it to be. If I want good coverage, I need two layers of this concealer because one isn't enough.
The coverage is the only thing that didn't really please me about this product, but I can make it work by applying two layers.

Basic everyday make-up look

Hello everyone!

January has been super busy for me. Normally I like to put on make-up and do my hair but in January I didn't always have time.

I prefer to wear some make-up rather than none and went for the basic thing. I thought I'd share this minium make-up look with you, in case some of you ladies who read my blog like to wear something that's less time consuming!

So I just primed my face and then used my L'Oréal True Match foundation. After that I applied some Catrice Camouflage cream under my eyes. This concealer is not liquid, which isn't ideal for the under eye area but I ran out of other concealer so it was an emergency, haha!
I set my foundation with some powder and put on a little bit of blush!



I kept my eyes quite light! I used a little bit of liquid eyeliner by Essence and I also applied some mascara from Essence.
After that I took a white shimmery eyeshadow and applied it under my brow to highlight it.

That's all it takes to achieve this look! This is my absolute basic make-up look.

January empties

Hello everyone! 

I'm back with my January empties. I haven't done an empties post in such a long time but now, I've emptied a lot of things!

 

I love liquid eyeliner, I use my liquid eyeliner on a daily basis and a few months ago I started using 3 tubes at once, which was a bit of a stupid thing to do. Anyway, I used all of them and now they're empty. 

 I also emptied my CoverGirl powder which lasted me for about a year! I like this product a lot and I will repurchase it.

My MAC concealer is also really close to empty. I liked this product and I will repurchase it!

EOTD: Dark & Mysterious!

How are you doing? I'm so sorry for not keeping up, I reached my Internet limit too soon this month so I couldn't update.

Today I have an eye of the day for you. This one is Jaclyn Hill inspired. If you don't know who Jaclyn Hill is, look her up on Youtube. She's a gorgeous make-up artist who used to work for MAC and now makes videos!
I had a party to go to so I decided to try out this beautiful make-up look, and this is the result!

For this look, I used my ELF 144 colours palette, my Nars palette in "Mélusine", my Nude 'Tude palette and my MAC pigment in "Rose".

Weekly Diary

Hello you guys!
How have you been doing? I'm glad to tell you that my exams are almost over! I didn't upload my weekly diary last Sunday due to a string of events that kept me from blogging.
One day late, here I am with my weekly diary!

My week hasn't been special. From Monday to Thursday I was studying and taking exams.
Last Thursday, I had my last exam, which was my history exam. I'm so happy the exams are over, now I don't have to feel guilty about watching TV, haha!
Having to study during the Christmas break is a whole new experience and it was something that I had to get used to!

After the exams, my friend and I decided to go get a drink and talk a little. It had been a month or so since we had a decent talk, so we caught up with everything that was going on.

I also went to a few parties, which was really nice, I saw a lot of people that I hadn't seen for a while.
This weekend we went to a couple of pet shops. I got some new fish in amazing colours. My tank is in my bedroom so I can watch my gorgeous fish swim around when I'm laying in bed, about to fall asleep.

In one of the pet shops, they actually recreated the Nemo tank! I think it was so beautiful and the fish looked amazing! I would for sure like to have a tank like that!

After watching a bunch of animals (and falling in love over and over again), my sister decided to adopt a little bunny. I like animals a lot so I'm happy the pet family is expanding!
She's such a cute little thing.
