Weekly Diary

Hi everyone! On this wonderful sunny Sunday I'm going to show you what my week looked like. It was a very busy but fun week.

The weather has been very nice. It's good to have some sun after a very cold and long winter.

I also went to Ypres. I wrote two posts about it, it was very very impressive.

Changed my hair colour! Not a redhead anymore! The picture on the left is me on Friday evening and the picture on the right was how my hair looked before.

I don't go out very often but I did on Friday, it was a very elegant party. The dress code was "gala". Here are my accessories. I thought they looked really cute. I wore my hair in a side bun with hair flowers and a little black lace dress.

In love with this tattoo!

Did you have a nice week?

Goodbye, red hair!

Hello you guys!
I have written a post before when I was doubting about my hair colour. I thought red was really nice but it was expensive and I couldn't even wash my hair in warm water so money wasn't the only sacrifice.

Yesterday, just a couple of hours before I left to go to a party, my sister was like: "Hey, let's get our hair done". So we did. Result?
Almost black hair. I planned brown hair but my sister said black would make me look like Dita Von Teese, which was reason enough to choose that colour haha!

I do really miss my red hair - everytime I look in the mirror I am like "What the..." because I forgot I dyed my hair. But okay, I'm happy with it!

What do you think?

First attempt at photography....

Hello everyone!
Today I want to do another little lifestyle post. As a lot of you people know I love pretty pictures/photography. If you read my weekly diary, you might see some pictures of my attempts at photography. Well, I prefer to call them "pretty pictures" because I'm not a good photographer haha!
You'll see that I love taking pictures of nature in particular. Grab a cup of tea, something to eat and see what you think of my "first attempt at photography"!

Let me know what you think!

April favies

Hello everyone! Today I'm showing you my favourite pictures of last month.
April was the month in which we had a little taste of what spring would be like, especially the last weeks were amazing. Here are the products I used and liked the most.

This month I got a new Essence liquid eyeliner, called the liquid ink eyeliner. I was very happy with it because I prefer liquid eyeliner over gel eyeliner but since I was doing my makeup challenge back then I didn't have the opportunity to buy liquid eyeliner. Luckely I was able to buy it now and I love it!

Next I have my Catrice eyebrow set, which comes in handy if you have messed up eyebrows like I do.  I prefer this one over my Essence one because the colours this set holds are more neutral (and so easier to use) than the colours in the Essence eyebrow kit. The set also comes with a brush and tweezers.

Then, them ost beautiful blush ever! "It's popul-art" by Essence, from the Vintage District collection. The gold overspray that was there in the first place is almost all gone now but the colour beneath it is really pretty as well. Love this!

And last but not least I have a grey shimmery nailpolish by MAX (drugstore). I only use one or two layers - it's all you need for perfect coverage. Drying only takes a couple of minutes and it's easy to take off. That's why I love this nailpolish!

VoilĂ , these are my April favourites. What products have you been loving?

My day in Ypres - part 2

Hello everyone! Happy Wednesday!
Today I'm going to show you some other pictures I took when I was in Ypres. Like I mentioned in my previous post I also went to the Flanders Field museum which was amazing but shoking as well - you get to see a lot of pictures and fragments and read a lot of stuff that's just... It's insane, I don't get how anyone would ever want to start a war like this!

Then we also went to a few graveyards, I told you that as well. The following pictures are pictures of the graveyard with 11.959 soldiers - it was pretty impressive to see, everywhere you looked there were graves.

Little crosses with poppies saying "In rememberance".
This picture is the only one that's not taken on the graveyard. We went to see some trenches as well. I walked in them, god they were so small! I can't believe I walked somewhere where hundereds of men used to fight (and die) a century ago. It was very interesting!

That's what it was like... If you ever visit Belgium and you have the chance to go to Ypres, please do. There are so many stories out there and so many things that I didn't even get to photograph, it's breathtaking.

I hope you enjoyed this post and I'll see you tomorrow!
Thanks for reading!
