Hello everyone!
I'm back!
I'm sorry for not updating
and virtually disappearing for a while. I didn't plan it! My keyboard on
my laptop has been giving up on me for a while now, but a few days ago,
it completely stopped working. I got a replacement now and I'm ready to
roll!
Today I'm here with a little bit of a different post. I was challenged to put outfits together for Kendra, a mom of three who's going to New York. This is the assignment I got:
Big Apple Bound
In just a few short days, I will be leaving to meet up with a group
of friends in New York City. The Big Apple has a long history and offers
visitors the chance to experience a vast array of new experiences. Planning
this trip has built excitement and a new appreciation for all that this major
city has to offer travelers. Now that the time to leave is almost here, I have
started to pack. I am a mom with 3 children and find myself in need of some
real fashion advice. I have created the Kendra Fashion Challenge to get some
much-needed advice on what to pack for my upcoming trip in one of NYC best hotels, The
Standard Highline Hotel.
In all of our planning one of the easiest thing to agree on was a
special outing at the Biergarten. This trendy German restaurant located at the
Standard High Line Hotel is home to Chef Kurt Gutenbrunner. In the summer
months, guests enjoy dining al fresco, while in the winter months the
restaurant is glass enclosed. We are all excited about enjoying a traditional
German meal that includes sausage and pretzels. Of course, we will enjoy our
German beer during our games of ping-pong. One of our friends ate at the
Standard Biergarten on the rooftop of their Los Angles hotel and could talk
about nothing else for days after.
Selecting our meal at Biergarten was easy, but there were other
outings that required more compromise and research. Choosing between so man
wonderful things to see and do is not always easy.. From taking a horse and
buggy ride through Central Park to visiting the Standard High Line hotel, one
of the best places to stay in the city, I want to look my best and feel my
best.
Here are some of the outfits that I had in mind! Eventhough everyone is running in heels in New York, I also got a couple of outfits with wedges or even ballet flats. Who says you can't be fashionable that way? It'll sure be more comfy, after all, you're on a holiday!
I mixed casual, classy, sexy,....
What do you think?
I love your proposals:) adorable outfit....and I sympathize with you technical problems, my laptop is giving up on me:)
