Catrice Photo Finish foundation review

Hi! In my last haul I showed you some new beauty buys, including this foundation by Catrice.
Now, I have never in my life tried a Catrice foundation before. I got a BB cream before and that was the first face product I ever got from them - I liked the BB cream so I thought trying the foundation would be a good idea.

The foundation I got is called the Catrice Photo Finish foundation. As it says on the bottle, it's a liquid foundation and it will last 18 hours.

The bottle is quite simple. It's see through matt glass, which I like, I think it's cute.
The colour that I got is "010 Sand Beige", which is the lightest colour they had. What can I say, I'm a pale girl! They have three other colours, so ladies who have a nice tan can benefit from this product as well!

This is what the foundation looks like on my hand. I'm using a tiny drop but it's enough to cover half of my hand. As you can see, this foundation has a yellow undertone. That's because it's such a light colour. I also have this with my BB cream. Other, darker foundations and BB creams have a pink undertone.

This is what it looks like when you rub it open...
The texture of this foundation is very nice, it's creamy and easy to blend in. The foundation also covers really well!

And this is the end result... As you can see, the foundation blended in really well and it matches my skintone perfectly!

I'm very content with the results of this foundation. I've tried about five different foundations in the few years that I started using makeup and this is one of the best ones I've tried.
I love it when a drugstore, cheap product turns out to be a great deal! Not much money, great quality. To die for!

NEW IN (and lovin'): everyday makeup organiser

Hello everyone! Good morning! How are you doing?
I'm so excited to show you one of my newest purchases! My father always complains that I have too much makeup laying around on my vanity, but it's always stuff that I use on a daily basis.
Yesterday I found this! This is an acrylic makeup organiser. Basically you just put your most used makeup in there and put it on your desk or on your vanity - how easy can it be?

I have been searching for something like this for a while now so I'm very happy to finally have it!

The first thing I did was to fill up the biggest space with a lipbalm, a concealer (review), a makeup palette (review), shimmer powder and fixing compact powder (review). Then I put my newest foundation in the biggest hole I could find. Next to it, I put my two BB creams (review).
After that, I had some space left for two lipsticks (review), my liquid eyeliner (review) and my mascara (review). I also squeezed an H&M lipgloss next to my foundation (review). Voilà, this is everything I could possibly ever need on a "normal" day.

I thought I'd let you know in case you want one yourself. I got mine for - I think - $1 or $2 and I got it from a shop called "Action", which is a store that sells a lot of different things for a low amount of money. If you don't have Action stores in your town, I think they also have these makeup organisers Office Depot or Target. I don't have Office Depot or Target in my town, but I've seen a bunch of makeup organisation videos on youtube in which those stores are mentioned.

Thanks for reading! Have a nice day!

Drugstore beauty haul!

Hello everyone! Ever since I ran out of my foundation some time last week I've been wanting to get a new one. I had to wait for a little while because I had other things to do for a couple of days, but last weekend I finally had the time to do some shopping. You guessed it, I didn't just get foundation. I took a look around and brought some other items home as well.

The first thing that got my attention was this shimmer powder by Essence. This is from the "Ticket to paradise" collection. I was thrilled to see they still had some of these powders left! Normally I'm always too late!

Next I decided to get another BB cream by Catrice. I had one already but I was almost out of it. Back ups are always a good idea! I got the colour "010 Light Beige". I already have a review on it.

Back up eyeliner... This is the liquid ink eyeliner by Essence. I've mentioned this a lot in my posts and I also have a review on it already!

And then I got a foundation. This time I decided to get one by Catrice. I've never had one from Catrice so I was quite curious about it. This is the photo finish foundation. It sounds good to me! I got the colour "010 Sand Beige".

And that's it for this little purchase post! Do you have any of these items? Do you like any of these items?

June favourites

Hello everyone!
June has passed by quite quickly. From my cat being in labor and Marilyn Monroes birthday to the exams, to the results, to vacation and blogging. Holy moly!
This month has been a very busy month for sure! One of these days July rolled around and things slowed down a little bit so that we all can rest a bit and get ready for the next school year.

Before that happens, I want to show you my monthly favourites! Some of them you have seen before, some of them you probably haven't seen before.
Want to know what my favourites of this months are? Keep on reading!

This month started with amazing weather. The makeup changed from darker colours to brighter colours and from foundation to just concealer and powder. One of my favourite palettes this month was "Twinkle in the eye" by Catrice (discontinued). I think it holds lovely colours! Here's a face of the day. I like my look this way in summer. Light and lovely!

Next, I re-discovered my Yves Rocher strawberry scented lipbalm!
This is insanely sweet yet I still love it! I put it on before I do my makeup and by the time I arrive to the step where I do my lips, they are soft and moisturized.

I also did a bit of shopping this month and this Biocura eyebrow pencil is one of the things I got. I fell in love with it instantly! So cheap, yet it works really well! You guys know how unconfident I am when it comes to my eyebrows and how excited I get when I get a new product that works really nice!

H&M lipgloss! I haven't been wearing this as much as I wanted to wear it this month. Probably because I didn't wear a lot of makeup during the exams and nowadays I'm at home waiting for the results of my exams... So, there's no point in putting on lipgloss if nobody will be able to see it! Hopefully I'll be able to wear this much more often soon!

This Catrice camouflage cream is becoming one of my holy grail products! Very high coverage, nice creamy texture, ah, I think I'm addicted!

And last but not least, I'm still loving my Essence all about matt fixing compact powder!

What are your favourites this month?
Thanks for reading again today!

June empties

Hi! Today is the first of July, which means that I will be doing my June empties and favourites.
I'm starting with my empties first! I don't empty a lot of products very often but this month I have three items!

The first item that I used up is this Kérastase conditioner for dry ends of your hair. I do have dry hair and colouring it makes it even dryer a lot of times, so I've used this a lot lately. It smells incredible and it makes my hair really soft and moisturized! I think I will repurchase this if I can find it in my store.

Next I finished two face products! My Catrice BB cream, which I love and which I've been using for quite a few months now!
I also emptied my Fit me foundation by Maybelline. I didn't expect this, my previous foundation lasted for almost a year and I didn't start using more so I don't know what it could be... Maybe the packaging just isn't as big or the pump gives a bigger amount of foundation than my previous foundation.
I took the lid off and now I have a little bit of foundation left on the bottom of the bottle, but I don't expect it to last very long.
And that brings us to the last empty of this month (and the end of the post)!
