August favies ♥

August is over.
Even though I'm a little bit sad, I have found /used a bunch of really lovely products.
Today I'm going to show you my absolute favies!

I bought my Miss Dior perfume at the end of July (as a treat for myself) and I've been using it every single day. It just smells so, so good and it makes me feel really good!

Last month I had to find a replacement for my favourite BB cream of all times, one by Catrice. I decided to try this one by Essence and guess what....
I love it!
It's also oil free which is even more amazing!

This month, I got a giftcard to MAC for my birthday (my friends are THE BEST) and I got me a new palette! OF COURSE this had to be in my favourites! Such beautiful colours!

Summer = highlighter. I'm still loving my highlighter by MAC. This is "Adored".
Which products have you been loving?

Thanks for reading!
Make today a good day!

July favourites

Happy Thursday!
Previously I shared my July empties with you and now I'm going to share my favourites!

Last month, I finally got my hands on MUA's nude palettes called "Undressed" and "Undress me too". I had been looking for them for such a long time and I couldn't be more excited when I found them!

Of course, I'm still obsessing over my newest Color Tattoo by Maybelline. I've said it once and I'm going to keep saying it: these Color Tattoos are amazing and I want as many of them as I can get!
They can be used on their own or they can be used as a base for eyeshadow. I like to use mine on days when I'm in a hurry or when I'm just not in the mood to spend one hour on my make-up!

I'm obsessed with my eyebrows. They need to look perfect at all times. It goes without saying I spend a lot of time on making them look as nice as possible.
This MUA eyebrow set has made my job a lot easier. The set holds three eyeshadow colours and a conealer-ish product which erases mistakes immediately! Budget, but good quality! This set also comes with a mirror, a tiny brush and a tweezer. Love!

Thanks for reading! Enjoy your day!

My all time favourite make-up palettes

Hello everyone!
A little while ago I was talking to someone about my favourite make-up palettes that I'd recommend and I noticed I haven't done a post like this in a while (or maybe not ever). So today, I want to show you my favourite make-up palettes. I will link the reviews of each make-up palette (that I have reviewed) in this post, so you can read all about my opinion if you'd like.

Of course, my Nude 'Tude make-up palette by The Balm. This palette is amazing! Not only the quality and pigmentation of the eyeshadows, but just the design of the palette. Who wouldn't love a pin-up girl palette?! I've had this for nearly a year now and I still love it and use it a lot. It has been featured in many of my posts!
You can find my review on it here!

The "To die for" palette by Essence is my favourite neutral drugstore palette ever. I recommend this to people who ask me for a cheap but good quality palette all the time. I still use my palette a lot, especially on work days or days when I don't have time to play around with my make-up!

Then there are of course my two ELF colour palettes.
The one on the left is the 144 neutral palette and the one on the right is the 144 colours palette. These palettes have every colour you could ever want and so I use them very often. Not only for new looks, but I also use them for make-up jobs.

My reviews on both palettes can be found here:

Elf neutral palette

This palette is my summer love. I got it in April when I was in Prague with school and I've been using it at least twice a week ever since.
The colours are bright, lovely, and well pigmented as always. Read more about it here.

Next, I'm also a big fan of the two palettes by MUA that I got recently. The one in the white packaging is called "Undress me too" and the palette in the black packaging is called "Undressed". Nice colours, good pigmentation, very affordable.
They are considered to be the cheap dupes of the Urban Decay Naked Palettes.

March favies ♥

March has been an amazing month.
We all got to see the sun for the first time and I couldn't be happier! I'm glad it's spring, I can't wait for summer. Okay, today I'm going to show you my favourite products that I used for my face and eyes in this beautiful weather.

I'm going to start off with face products. I've started using my ELF blush in "Candid Coral" again. This blush is peachy with golden shimmers in it, it's so cute. I love the colour of the shimmer in the sunlight. It's really pretty and subtile.

I've also been using my MAC mineralize skinfinish in "Adored" a lot again. This mineralize skinfinish is from a limited edition. The special thing about "Adored" is that it has cold (pink, silver) and warm (peach, gold) colours in it. I think it's really beautiful.

For my eyes, I've been in love with gold and orange. I know it's also a spring trend right now to wear orange, which is only a benefit because I keep on falling in love with "Texture" everytime I use it.
The other colours that I use on my eye a lot are "Honey Lust", "Bronze" and "Woodwinked", all by MAC.

To make sure my eyeshadow stays on all day, I use my Essence I ♥ Stage eyeshadowbase. I find that it works pretty well. My eyeshadows are vibrant, they stay on all day, they don't crease, what more can you ask for?
My Essence "Get big lashes" volume boost mascara also helps me to achieve a lovely look on a daily basis. It's a cheap mascara, but it's a good mascara (and I don't get clumbs so yay for Essence).

My last favourite item of March is my Catrice inside eye higlighter pen. I have been using it for weeks now and I love it. If I'm not doing a coloured eyeliner on my waterline, I'm using this one. I like it a lot! It's not as obvious as a white eyeliner would be, but it does help.

Those are my favourite products of March. Which products have stolen your heart last month?
Have a good day!

Current favies ♥

Hi!
This month I don't have any empties to write a post about, so instead, I'm going to be showing you my current favourites (aside from beauty products).

I have told you once before that these last few weeks I've been making bookmarks like it's all I've ever done. I just make a little stash so that I have enough for all the books I'm about to read!

I haven't had much time but when I had time, I have been blogging and looking up great pictures. This one for example, so beautiful!

Spring is around the corner! It makes me so happy to know that soon I'll be able to wear skirts again. My make-up will probably also look more coloured. I have loads of inspiration photo's ready!

I've also been loving the Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa. Damn, those books are good! Very enjoyable!

What have you been loving?

February favies ♥

Hello everyone! March just came around, I love it, the sun has been shining today as if it's predicting a lovely spring. I sure do hope so!

Today I want to show you my favourite products of last month.
I'm going to start with my Labello lipbalms. In the beginning of the month it got really cold and I needed my lipbalms every minute of every day.

I know I keep repeating this but my favourite palette of the month is again... My Nude 'Tude palette. I have made so many different looks with it this month! I also used the black for a metal themed outfit and I'm still surprised by the pigment. I knew it was good, but that it was this good...

I've also been loving my new foundation by L'Oréal. I find this to be the best drugstore foundation there is (well, I haven't tested them all but out of the ones I've tested, I'd say this is the winner).

Hello Body Shop! Not only my fruit scented showergels and bodybutters have been absolute favourites, also the chocolate showergel and the limited editions have blown me away!

Another thing that I have been loving this month, that has nothing to do with fashion or beauty, is making bookmarks.
I've made foxes, rabbits, cupcakes, clouds,...
I'm also completely back with my reading. I haven't had lots of time last year but now I finally made some time to start enjoying reading again! Yay!

That's it! Thank you for reading!
Have a lovely day!

Winter care favourites

Hi everyone!
Cold weather has been raging through town. I think winter is really coming now.
In order to be well prepared, I got some products to protect my skin. I want to share my favourite products in this post today.

I'll start off with skincare items. They are very important to me because I have very dry and sensitive skin. I've told you about my mango shower gel by The Body Shop before, but I haven't really talked to you about their body butter. The Body Shop's body butters are my favourite body butters in the whole entire world.

There are more scents in the assortment than you could ever imagine, which is great because lots of people - even people with different taste - can find something they like there. Even though I used to think the body butters were overpriced, I got a couple of them to see if my opinion would change. And it has.
There's actually quite a lot of product in the jar! It's so smooth and creamy, what a lovely texture! The scent lasts quite long. And it's cruelty free!

Alright, onto the next product which also happens to be by The Body Shop. I'm talking about their passionfruit scented lipbalm in a jar.
Again, very nice texture and a lovely scent. I often just apply a heavy layer before going to bed so that my lips have all the time to recover. I'm thinking of getting one for in my purse too!

Now it's time for my makeup favourites. A couple of years ago, while on a trip to Amsterdam, I convinced myself to try out L'Oréal's True Match foundation. If I'm honest, this was my first foundation and I couldn't have picked a better one. Now, several years later, after trying a few other foundations, I have returned to L'Oréal.
It just fits me, the colours are very close (if not true) to my skintone and the coverage is good as well, whichi s great because I do need more coverage in winter.
I'll write a more detailled review on it soon.

One of my favourite budget products is the catrice camouflage cream concealer. Like I said, I need more coverage in winter and this full coverage concealer gives me that. It's also nice to hide a red nose.

Just a few additional products that I love in winter are blush and bronzer. I don't do very fancy contouring or anything, I just like to add a little bit of extra colour to my face since I'm a porcelain skintoned kind of girl. The blush that I currently use is a bit brighter than it would be in summer because I get even more pale in winter. It's by The Balm.

That's it! My favourites for winter! What are your favourite products?

Januari favourites

The first month of 2014 is over already. Can you believe it? Time goes so fast!
January has been a month full of hard work and beauty favourites. The hard work is not something I like to write about, beauty favourites are. Take a peek?

Ever since I got this palette back in October, I believe, I've been using -and loving- it. I can only use a palette for months in a row if I really really like it. When it comes to my Nude 'Tude palette by the balm, there isn't one thing I don't like. I know you're probably getting bored of hearing me say this but it's the truth.

I have also "discovered" something new. I've seen a picture on Tumblr of a girl with heart shaped lips. I saw it a long time ago, it must have been a year ago already (or longer maybe).
Just now I decided to try it. And I fell in love with it. I can't wait for spring and summer to come back, I'm pretty sure this will be my signature look.

My favourite lipstick of the month, the one I use to create the heart shaped lips, is "Russian Red" by MAC.

Back in August I went to the MAC store for the very first time. I got a couple of makeup items that I loved. However, I didn't use them often because I didn't want to hit pan. I wanted the eyeshadow product to last.
Seeing it just sit on my vanity over the last few months was a bit sad, I mean, when you spend so much money on a product, you would want to use it, right? So I did. I found a video online (totally coincidential) where a girl used this colour and I recreated it rightaway. Eversince, this has been one of my go to beauty looks. The name of this eyeshadow is "Texture", by the way!

Another product that I have been loving this month is my Color Tattoo by Maybelline. This one is called "Permanent Taupe". I'm guessing I don't need to explain why I love this!

H&M has totally surprised me with this eyeshadow trio! Beautiful colours for everyday and so appropriate for work or school. It's also tiny, which means you can just throw it in your purse and touch up your makeup later. Oh,and it's so cheap!

Last but not least I have my products by The Body Shop. Lipbalm, shower gel and body butter.
All of them have helped me take care of my body in this cold weather and ah.... I can't explain how attached I have gotten!

Which items have you been loving lately?
Thanks for reading!
