EOTD: Flawless part 3

Happy Monday! How have you been?
I'm back with another make-up look that I made using the Original Flawless palette by Make-up Revolution.
This will probably be one of the last looks I make with the Flawless palette.
Next week I'll start doing make-up looks using the Flawless 2 palette, which I haven't used for a look yet so that's something to look out for!

Today's look is another "darker", but soft look. I used a taupe eyeshadow in the crease and a chocolate brown eyeshadow in the outer corner of the crease to darken it up. After blending, I used two shades of shimmery silver. The lightest shade in the inner corner of my eye and the darkest shade in the outer corner.

Instead of going for liquid eyeliner, I decided to go for pencil eyeliner. I smudged it out a little bit and applied mascara as a last step.

Thanks for reading!
I'll see you soon!

EOTD: Flawless smokey eyes

Hello everyone! How are you doing? Last week I showed you my Flawless make-up palette and I promised you I would have more make-up looks online soon.
Today I created a darker, smokey make-up look that I created using the green and silver eyeshadows in this palette.

I used brown and dark grey (almost black) eyeshadow in my crease and outer corner. My lid is covered in green eyeshadow in the outer part and grey glittery eyeshadow in the inner part. Because the look is quite dark, I decided not to apply winged eyeliner. I did apply mascara to both the upper and the lower lashline.

In the following pictures you can see the full face end result. What do you think of this look?
I'll be back soon with more!

Have a good day!

Revolution Flawless 2 palette ♥

Happy May!
Last week I showed you my newest make-up palette called "Flawless" by Revolution. And damn, that palette was indeed flawless. It impressed me so much that I decided to get the second "Flawless" palette.

The hot pink packaging doesn't shy away for anything or anyone, although the colours inside are a bit more neutral than the previous palette. Aside from a couple very bright copper and hot pinks, this palette exists mostly out of matte, cool-toned neutral shades. A few really nice blending colours, plenty of highlight colours and of course some shades to darken up your ideal look.

This is what the eyeshadow palette looks like. The colours in the right upper corner immediately caught my eye. They are very vibrant and bright, just how I like them. The colours on the left are taupes and browns, and plenty of different shades that can be used for blending or highlighting the browbone. I don't think I have any palette with this much blending colours. I love that they're in here though, you can make or break your look by using (or not using) a transitioning colour.

I swatched a couple of the eyeshadows from this palette. As you can see, the lighter shades and the matt eyeshadows are a little less pigmented than the darker or brighter colours. You might have to put a little more work in building up the intensity of the colours.
The black shades in this palette give a bit of fall out, but surprisingly, not much. The pigmentation of the other eyeshadows is good.

I will be back soon with (-hopefully a ton of-) new looks!

Have a great day! See you soon!

EOTD: Soft smokes

Hello everyone! Happy Tuesday!
On Sunday I showed you my newest palette called the "Flawless" palette by Revolution. I created a copper/pink look that day but realised soon enough that I can pretty much create any look I want to with this palette, there are simply so many different textures, shades and tones.

I love my soft smokey eyes, where I use lighter colours in the crease and go darker towards the upper lashline. No need for winged eyeliner and nice, gradually faded shadows. Today I decided to do one of those looks using my Flawless palette. I used green and silver eyeshadows for this look.

I think it looks really sophisticated and it doesn't even take that much work - however - blending is key in looks like these!

Have a look!

Some close-ups!

Revolution Flawless palette ♥

Ever since I've lived at my boyfriend's place, I've only had one make-up palette at hand. I've been creating looks using my beloved Urban Decay Naked palette. Being the make-up addict that I am, I saw the opportunity to get a second one, after all, using thesame palette for two months can get a bit boring.
I went to the store and to my surprise almost immediately found a palette that I liked. This palette is the Revolution "Flawless" palette.

The packaging of this palette is very shiny and very gold. The 32 eyeshadows inside the make-up palette are also shiny (for the most part) and most of them are warm-toned as well.

The next pictures are two close-ups of the palette. I like this palette a lot because it has both warm and cool tones, light and dark shades, shimmery eyeshadows and mattes.

This palette is gorgeous, I can assure you, but it also needs to be good quality. Below you can see one of the looks I have created using this palette. This look was made using the cranberry and purple shades in this palette. I don't go for pink and purple very often, but when I do, I like to make it dramatic.
I was very surprised by the quality of the eyeshadows. The lighter shades do need some building up, but the darker shades (even the matte ones) have good pigmentation.
I was very surprised by how the shimmery colours popped on my eyes. I also didn't get any fall out, which is always pleasant!

Here are a few full face pictures! I'm very happy with the look and the palette. I think it's a good deal, you get 32 very nice eyeshadows in a drugstore palette that has a lot of variety. Keep reading for more!

Thanks for visiting! Have a good one!

Revolution blush palette review

Goodmorning everyone! I'm back with a product that I'm crazy excited about!
Today I'm going to tell you about my ultra blush palette by Revolution. I am a huge blush fan (always have been) so when I found this palette, I could barely keep it together!

Although the packaging looks exactly thesame as all the other palettes, what's inside is absolutely stunning. This blush palette holds eight different colours. Some of them are sparkly, some of them are matt. The colours vary from peach to pink to tan, which is amazing because there's something in this palette for everyone.

Here's a closer look!

The colours are quite pigmented. I tried the second one starting from the left on the top row a couple of days ago and you have to be so so careful with these blushes because of the pigment in it. I tried the more nude shades on the left side of the palette as well and those too are very pigmented.
The blushes on the right are very shimmery and metallic so I use those as highlighters. Below you can find a picture of what I look like after a long day. The blush is still there, it has faded a little but I think it looks quite natural. Nice!

Thanks once again for reading! Have a good day!

Golden Goddess highlighter review!

Highlighters have been a very big thing the last (few) year(s). Every brand seems to have one, it's really all you hear about on blogs and YouTube channels, and I can't really blame anyone.
When I was a kid, I used to watch "Charmed" on TV and I would wonder what made the girls in the show glow like that. What made them look so fresh and healthy?
As I started learning more about make-up, I was told about this thing called "highlighter"... "Oh," I thought, "so that's where the glow comes from?".

It's no secret that I'm a big higlighter lover too! About a month ago, in Madrid, I found this cute highlighter by Revolution.
It's a triple baked highlighter in a heart shape, called "Goddess of Love". A gorgeous absolutely stunning gold highlighter that's affordable too! But is it good enough to steal my heart?

The packaging is way too cute. Heart shapes are meant to win girls over rightaway. No, really, this packaging is quite cute. It might not be great for storage or travelling, but it'll take your bad mood away in the morning!
Below, you can see what the swatch looks on my hand.

I personally loved this swatch. A higlighter has be pigmented for sure, but too pigmented can look a bit stupid as well, after all, you don't want to look like a discoball.

I love the glow this highlighter gives me, without being too much or too over the top. It is exactly what it needs to be; noticable, but not ridiculous, if that makes sense.
You can see the highlighter when I turn my head, when the sun decides to show itself or when a light shines on my face. I've tried my very best to capture the gorgeousness on camera and believe I have succeeded as well.

Below you'll find a picture of what my highlighter looks like in artificial light. Pretty nice, huh?

I'm in love. Pun intended.
There are two more options available, but this one was the best one for my complexion. I'm very happy to have gotten one of these highlighters.

Are there any highlighters you'd like to recommend? Please do let me know in the comments below.
Thanks for reading and as always, I hope to see you soon!
