Make-uplook challenge update #6: silver

Hi everyone!
The weather is so beautiful outside today and it's making me so happy! I have made a simple, but nice make-uplook today. I used silver make-up as the main colour of this make-uplook.
Ready? Here we go!

Alright, today's look isn't that special from far away but if you look closer, you can see the gradual fade.
I used a silver eyeliner in my inner corner, a darker grey eyeshadow in the middle and a black eyeshadow in the outer corner. I really wanted to get that "ombre" kind of effect.

I used a limited edition eyeliner pencil by Catrice (from the "Colours of the Ocean" collection) to create the eyeliner and the wing. After that I went over the lightest part with a beautiful, sparkly eyeshadow by Catrice called "Luke SkyStalker". I wet my brush to make the eyeshadow stick.

Next, I used "Selfish", a darker grey colour from my Nude 'Tude palette for the middle and the black colour from this palette called "Serious" for the wing. I was doubting to go over it with actual liquid eyeliner but I decided not to do it because it would be too harsh.

After that, the look is finished. It's really beautiful and not too hard to do (this is actually the first time I tried this!). You could of course always do this with pink, green, blue, orange, yellow, purple, whatever colour you like!

Make-uplook challenge update #6: grey

Hello everyone!
I'm back with another make-uplook challenge update!
I decided I would make grey the colour of the week, but the real challenge was to keep it colourful and bright like a sunset, since I didn't want to make a boring look with this amazing weather.

I used my ELF 144 neutral eyeshadow palette for all the colours on my lid. The grey crease colour is the darkest colour from my Essence eyeshadow quattro in "XOXO".
I decided the look could use a little more colour so I used MAC's "Texture" above the grey colour. Now it looks like a sunset. The higlighter I used is also a colour from my ELF palette.

Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed this look!
Have a lovely day!

Makeup look challenge update #5: green

Hi everyone! I'm back with a look for my make-up challenge! This week I used green as the main colour in my look.
I started with applying an olive green colour on my lid. In the middle, I added thesame colour with glitter in it. Then I used a little bit of a darker green for the crease and a very dark green for my outer corner. As always, it doesn't look that dark in the pictures but it's different in real life.

All the eyeshadow colours that I used are by ELF. They're from my ELF 144 neutral eyeshadow palette.

I decided not to make my eyeliner very dramatic. I just used my Essence liquid ink eyeliner to create a line on my upper lashline and I used Essence Kajak eyeliner pencil in "Hola, Chicka!" on my waterline.

I'm quite happy with the result!
Let me know what you think!

Make-upchallenge #4: Taupe

Hello!
I'm back with another make-upchallenge update! This look is very simple and easy. I used my Color Tattoo by Maybelline as eyeliner just to see how it would go.
It wasn't bad but from a distance you couldn't really see the colour so I went over it with a taupe/grey eyeshadow.

This is the result! I decided not to do anything with it (I didn't want to ruin it!) and just applied mascara as the finishing touch!

Makeup look challenge update #2: purple

Hello everyone! Today I'm back with an update on my make-uplook challenge.
The colour of this week is purple. Like always, I try to incorporate bright colours in my make-up without making it looks clownesque.

Want to take a look?

So here is what the make-up looks like. I used a taupe base on my lid and then I applied purple over it. A little above my crease I applied "Woodwinked" by MAC and I darkened my crease up with a brown eyeshadow. After that I added some black eyeshadow on my upper lashline as eyeliner. On my waterline I used eyeliner as well, here I'm using a purple eyeliner by Essence. It's called "Hola, Chicka!"

Makeup look challenge update #1: orange

Hello everyone! Last week I told you I wanted to challenge myself to wear more coloured looks.
Today I have my very first update. I started out with a look that contains orange. I didn't make it too bright though, that way it is still wearable for everyday. It's also school and work appropriate.

While I was making this look, I took some pictures. I'm going to make it into a photo tutorial. I think it will be online this week or next week.

Makeup look challenge ♥

Hello everyone! Ever since using more colour this summer (and getting more coloured palettes), I decided that I wanted to wear brighter colours more often. However, now that it's January, I nearly wear brown colours everyday and I wanted to change that. So I challenged myself and I thought it would be really fun to make this a kind of series for the blog.

I challenged myself to pick a colour each week that I should create one or more looks with. One week I'll choose blue for example and so I'll have to find a way to incorporate blue into my makeup. I myself am really excited for this and I hope I'll be able to do it every week, even on busy weeks.

Just to show you what I mean, I uploaded a couple of pictures of brighter looks that I have created last year. It's also inspiring at thesame time. Of course I'll try not to make thesame looks as showed below!
