Fall Foundation - The perfect shade

It's this time of year again, the weather starts changing and the only tan you'll get is fake.  Personally I don't mind about tanning, I automatically do it in summer.
The problem is that I have my foundation for when I'm tan in summer, but what about winter? There's a really simple solution to this, you just get a new foundation. But if you're a little bit like me, you don't feel like spending money all the time. So here's what I do.
Of course, to do this, you're going to need two foundations. I have the one from this summer and one that I started using a whole while back (it's a lot lighter than my other foundation) but I stopped using it because it didn't give me enough coverage.
Now what I'm going to do is, I'm going to mix those two foundations together so that I get a lighter shade. I'm going to add more of the lighter foundation until I have a colour that's my skintone.

I've made a quick example with my own foundation, here it is:
On the left I have my lightest foundation by a local drugstore and on the right I have the L'oréal True Match foundation in "Rose Beige", which is a mascara that I've been using for a really really long time. I love it!

On the left I have my L'oréal foundation, on the right I have the lighter one by my drugstore (it might not look very clear but the natural lighting isn't exactly great these days).

Then I just mix those two together and if you look at the foundation on the left side of my hand in the previous picture, you'll probably see that this looks lighter.
You can take more of lighter foundation if you still don't have the right colour. You'll definitely have to try it out and see if it works for you, but once you get it, you're good to go!
