MAC "Melon" pigment review

Hello everyone!
Earlier this week I went to do some early Christmas shopping because I won't have time in December. I will be studying during the holidays this year (college, you know...).
After getting a couple of things that I liked, I couldn't help it, I went to the MAC store... and let's just say I got myself an early present.

I got a new mini pigment by MAC. I got my first pigment by MAC this summer and I like it a lot, but it's a really bright pigment so I wanted something a little more neutral...

I walked out with the colour "Melon", which is a beautiful, vibrant gold pigment.
The make-up artist that helped me pick out make-up this summer was actually crazy about this pigment and she really recommended it. I can see why now!

Magic in a jar...

This is what the pigment looks like. As always, my pictures were taken in front of a big window, so the colours look lighter than they actually are.
This is such a beautiful shade! I can't wait to create a new make-up look with this pigment!

Thanks for reading!

EOTD: Star Violet ♥

Ahhh, eye make-up, I love eye make-up!
For my birthday, a bunch of my friends got me a big ass gift card from MAC (thanks again!).
I spent it wisely. Here is a look that I made with my MAC eyeshadow colours!

I decided to go for a purple look, a little bit of a smokey eye.

For this look, I used "Star Violet", "Sketch", "Bronze" and "Espresso".
I put a lot of effort into blending to make it look flawless. This is the finished look.

All the eyeshadows used are by MAC.
Eyeliner and mascara by Essence.

Thanks for reading!
I hope you have a lovely day!

MAC eyeshadow palette review

Hello everyone!

As I told you in a previous post (my haul from Dresden and Prague), I got a new MAC palette filled with beautiful colours that I have been wanting for a while now. These are all very beautiful on their own, but can be combined as well!
I didn't think I would use these colours together but when I saw the finished palette, my hands started itching to use the colours!

Here are the colours that I got:

I swatched all four of the colours and my jaw basically dropped to the floor. I know MAC is a really good brand and it's known for their amazing quality but I was really surprised by the quality and pigmentation of these eyeshadows.

From left to right: "Sketch", "Humid", "Coppering", "Amber Lights".
Below you can see the look I made with these four colours.
It's great for spring and great for people who love a lot of colour. My photo tutorial on this look will be up tomorrow!

Have a lovely day! Smile!

MAC mineralize skinfinish in "Adored"

Hi everyone! I'm am so excited to tell you about my first mineralize skinfinish from MAC! I wanted to try "Soft and Gentle", but it was sold out. Both in the Limited Edition line ànd in the permanent line. It must be really good then! "Lust" was very beautiful too but a little too pink. Then this baby catched my eye! Something neutral, yet not too subtile ( as in "so subtile you can't see it) and cute. This is "adored"!

Even though this is from a limited edition, it has a basic, simple packaging. Not that I'm complaining, I love MAC's packaging. I think it looks simple but classy.

As you can see the skinfinish is quite peachy with a bit of pink and some shimmer. It's beautiful! The picture below is a picture of how it looks in natural daylight and the picture below that one is how it looks with flash.

I got really excited when I was in the store and the makeup artist proposed to use it on my face so I could see what it would be like. Of course I said yes! From that moment I knew this baby was my new best friend. I took it home and we've been happy ever since. The picture below shows you the subtile glow that "Adored" gives me. I adore it (see what I did there?) !
