EOTD: When the beach meets the ocean

'Ello! I'm back with one of my favourite eyelooks of the moment.
This look is a typical pop of colour look, but rather than just black eyeliner and blue eyeliner, I also mixed my eyeshadows: something neutral on top and a pop of colour underneath.

I was inspired by the beach for this look. The colours on my eyelid represent the sand on the beach and the horizon when the sun goes down.
The blue and green eyeshadow on my waterline represent the ocean and the seaweeds.
(I've been wanting to do something with white eyeliner as well, but I haven't found a nice white liquid eyeliner yet, so suggestions are welcome!)

I used my MAC eyeshadows in "Steamy", "Plumage", "Espresso" and "Satin Taupe" and The Balm Bon Voyage palette to create this look .

Let me know what you think!
Have a nice day!

EOTD: Neon

Goodmorning lovelies!
Remember last week when I showed you my brand new coloured eyeliners by Miss Sporty? Today's look is a very bright look. I used my neon yellow eyeliner for this one.
I was quite excited to try this one out and man, I can't get over how cute it is! I will say that it's not for everyone. A couple of my friends love it, others don't really like it at all. It's all a matter of personal taste, but being the beauty/make-up lover that I am, I just had to try it. I'm always up for something new!

I think this is such a nice make-up look for bright, sunny days! Everytime I look down, it's like a little surprise: "Boom, I have yellow eyeliner!". I will have another make-up look up using the pastel blue eyeliner as well.

I kept my eyeshadow pretty neutral so it wouldn't take away from the colour pop this eyeliner provides. I have listed all the make-up products below. You can click the links to my reviews if you'd like to read more about these products.

Products used:
- The Balm "Balm Voyage" palette:
"B3" in the crease, "B4 in the outer corner, "A3" on the lid
- MAC "Satin Taupe"
- Essence liquid eyeliner
- Miss Sporty eyeliner in "004 Neon Yellow"

EOTD: Spring is just around the corner!

Goodmorning everyone!
These last few days have been cold, but sunny. I say this every year, but I feel like I'm always in a much better mood when the sun is shining. I have been wearing either really dark make-up or not much make-up at all, so I went for a put together, much lighter look today.
I still smoked it ou a bitt, but I actually used cranberry/orange/peach eyeshadow colours for this look! Here's a tip for you blue eyed girls (and boys) out there: these eyeshadows will make blue eyes pop!

I used my Nude 'Tude and Nude Dude palette from The Balm for this look, as well as my MAC make-up palette.

I also recorded a tutorial for this look, but right after applying foundation I moved a tiny bit, which means that I was out of focus the whole time. I will try to record it once again this week! If you have any other requests, don't hesitate to let me know!
Here are some full face pictures!

For my brows, I used the MUA eyebrow set. I used my Essence concealer underneith my eyes and my Catrice camouflage cream on my face.
My eyeliner and mascara are also by Essence.

EOTD: A dark trip

A new year, time to try out some new things! Back in the day, when I was still a make-up rookie, I didn't like to use many products or dark products. Experimenting was not my thing at all and playing safe was more my cup of tea.

Recently I've been trying a lot of new things; different brands, different techniques, different colours, different styles,... Today's looks is a rather dark look. I didn't know where I was going with this look when I picked up my palette by "The Balm", and I just used the colours that caught my eye.

The look turned out a little darker than I expected, which is okay. I do love the colours that I used though. A little cranberry, taupe, dark brown. I didn't do a lot on Christmas, but if I had plans to go out, I would have probably worn this!

Products used:
- Balm Voyage palette by The Balm
- Essence liquid eyeliner
- Essence mascara
- MUA eyebrow set

Smokey greens for winter queens ♥

Goodmorning!
Last week, I showed you a very daytime make-up look for Christmas. Today, I have another make-up look for you. It's another green make-up look, but a lot more smokey and darker than the other one.

Here's a list of all the products that I used on my eyes:

I decided not to go for eyeliner because this look is dark engouh as it is. The trick to achieving this look is just keep adding and blending until you're happy with the result. This is how I did it, but you can always do it your own way.

I started with applying the browns in my crease and later on mixing and applying the greens on my lid. I applied a white eyeliner to brighten up my eyes a little bit, but a black eyeliner would look really good as well - especially if you're going for a very dramatic look.
I would also apply some false lashes if I was going out or if I was having a family lunch.

Have a lovely day!

EOTD: Sunrise

Hello everyone! How are you doing?
It's been a really long time since I've used my Essence "all about sunrise" palette because I feel like it's a palette for summer. But with all the bad weather, I desperately needed something to lighten up my day.

For the first time in a couple of months, I used this palette for my eye of the day today! I kept it quite simple; I used the yellow eyeshadow on my lid after priming with Essence I ♥ stage eyeshadow base. After that I used the lightest colour in my crease, the darker brown on the outer corner and the darkest, grey eyeshadow on top of the brown.
After blending everything, I used the white eyeshadow as a highlight!

I finished this look by putting on liquid eyeliner (ah, it's almost empty!) and mascara by Essence. This is the finished look!

Do you like this look? Let me know!

Thanks so much for reading! I hope you have a good day!

EOTD: A whole lotta rain!

Today I was inspired by the weather! It was a dark and extremely rainy day. I decided I wouldn't let the weather get me down and I used it as inspiration for my eye make-up!

This look is a look with blue eyeshadow colours, silver and black. As always, I started by using a primer. The eyeshadow primer that I like to use is "I ♥ Stage eyeshadow base"

After that, I used a light silver colour as transition colour in my crease. Then I used one of my favourite MAC eyeshadows, called "Deep Truth" in my crease and I applied some black eyeshadow from my "Nude Tude" palette by The Balm in my outer corner.

The only thing left to do next is to apply a lid colour. I used a frost blue eyeshadow for that, I think it's so, so beautiful!

After that I applied a really thin line of eyeliner: black liquid eyeliner on the top bottom and white pencil eyeliner on my lower waterline. The finishing touch with mascara and done!
This is the finished look! Let me know what you think!

Have a good day!

EOTD: MAC "Rose" pigment make-up look!

I tend to buy a lot of make-up and use it about a week and then forget all about it. With the upcoming exams, I don't have a lot of time to do my make-up anyway, but today I decided I wanted to create a look with my "Rose" pigment by MAC.

This pigment is gorgeous, but it's something that can be over the top. I decided just to wear a darker make-up look with this pigment.

I'm considering to make a tutorial on this look (although it might take some time because I'm in exams now), I really like it. I should wear it more often!

Here's a list of the products I used for my eyes:
* Essence I ♥ stage eyeshadow base
*MAC Espresso eyeshadow
*MAC Rose pigment
*Nude 'Tude by The Balm
*Essence Liquid eyeliner
*Essence mascara

Products used for my face:
*L'Oréal True Match foundation
*MAC concealer
*MUA eyebrow set
*Catrice setting powder
*Essence Vintage District blush (limited edition)
*MAC "Adored" highlighter (limited edition)

Fall make-up look ♥

I tried something new. I'm not a big fan of change, but sometimes I try something new. That's exactly what I did with this make-up look. I decided to make it a little darker and a little more wintery/smokey than I normally would.

It might not seem that dark at all in the pictures, but just remember that my pictures are taken in front of a huge window, so it's normal for my make-up to look a little bit lighter.

As always, I used some of my favourite shades by MAC for this make-up look. "Texture", an orange toned eyeshadow that I normally never use on my eyelid but I did today. I really like the results too! It's a little darker, but hey, it's December, we're allowed to wear a little bit of dark make-up sometimes.

In my crease I used "Bronze", followed by "Espresso" and just a little bit of black eyeshadow from my MUA "Undress me too" eyeshadow palette.
As usual I did my signature eyeliner! The liquid eyeliner and the mascara I like to use are by Essence.

Do you like this look? Would you wear it?

Have a good day!

EOTD: Autumn Leaves!

Hey there!
Fall is most certainly here and the falling leaves have actually inspired me to do a make-up look!
It's a dark look, but I like it!

I was inspired by the falling leaves, so I incorporated gold, cranberry and purple in the look. I know purple is not really a colour you see in falling leaves but the cranberry I had in mind was impossible to work with!

I used my Essence I ♥ Stage eyeshadow base to prime my eyes.

All the eyeshadows that I used are by MAC. I used "Amber lights" in the inner corner with some "Melon" pigment on top. The middle colour is called "Coppering" and in the outer corner, I used "Sketch", which is a beautiful, dark purple colour.

My eyeliner and mascara are by Essence, as usual!

What do you think of this look?
I hope you're having a good day!
