EOTD: Universe

Last week I got new "glitter dust" by H&M. I already had some gold glitter dust and since I am so crazy about them, I've been wanting to get more.
A few days ago I found some colours I liked - and they were on sale as well! I got a silver one, a white one and a black with blue one - all for €3 a piece.

I love glitter. It comes in handy for special occassions like birthdays and New Year's celebrations, but it's also a fun to wear on a daily basis. You get to create a fun make-up look and the sparkly just makes it that extra bit special.

This look that I made today doesn't just have glitter dust, it also has a bright eyeliner and some black eyeshadow. Easier than you'd think and great to steal the show on a night out!
Oh, and when you look up, you might notice that the sky above you looks just like the make-up you have on your eyes.
Let's have a look!

I applied two shades of brown in my crease first and blended them out. Next I applied black eyeshadow all over my eyelid and just a tiny bit of glitter glue on top of that before applying the glitter dust.
I also put on black eyeliner, to put blue eyeliner on top of that later (it just shows up better when there's a base already). Some kohl liner on the waterline, mascara and done!

Not your everyday kind of look. It is a bit of a dramatic look, but it sure is fun. Below you can find two full face pictures!

Thank you again for reading today! Have a good one!

EOTD: Neon

Goodmorning lovelies!
Remember last week when I showed you my brand new coloured eyeliners by Miss Sporty? Today's look is a very bright look. I used my neon yellow eyeliner for this one.
I was quite excited to try this one out and man, I can't get over how cute it is! I will say that it's not for everyone. A couple of my friends love it, others don't really like it at all. It's all a matter of personal taste, but being the beauty/make-up lover that I am, I just had to try it. I'm always up for something new!

I think this is such a nice make-up look for bright, sunny days! Everytime I look down, it's like a little surprise: "Boom, I have yellow eyeliner!". I will have another make-up look up using the pastel blue eyeliner as well.

I kept my eyeshadow pretty neutral so it wouldn't take away from the colour pop this eyeliner provides. I have listed all the make-up products below. You can click the links to my reviews if you'd like to read more about these products.

Products used:
- The Balm "Balm Voyage" palette:
"B3" in the crease, "B4 in the outer corner, "A3" on the lid
- MAC "Satin Taupe"
- Essence liquid eyeliner
- Miss Sporty eyeliner in "004 Neon Yellow"

Miss Sporty coloured eyeliners! ♥

Coloured eyeliners are a big thing right now. They're a big thing every year, like, it's not really groundbreaking - but this year, a lot of brands have made coloured eyeliners.
I was in The Netherlands earlier this week (I don't live far away from the border) and they sell "Miss Sporty" over there. Miss Sporty is a very affordable make-up brand, which happens to have a whole new line of coloured eyeliners.

They had mint greens, this purple/blue-ish shade, navy, yellow and a couple more. I decided to get the blue and the yellow. Let's see if they're any good!

The two liquid eyeliners have a nice packaging. Quite simple. The eyeliners are black but the caps are bright coloured. The blue one has a blue cap, the yellow one has a yellow cap. I like that.

The brushes are made out of plastic, which feels a bit weird at times but I actually learned how to apply liquid eyeliner using these kind of applicators, so it's not a big problem for me.

Here are the swatches!
I think the colour payoff is amazing! I've tried it a couple of times now after applying eyeshadow and I'd be lying if I said I didn't like these eyeliners.
I do have to apply more than one layer to get everything even. I also noticed that even though I don't feel anything on my hand, these liners do tend to 'sting' a bit.
It's a weird sensation and besides the stinging, I don't have any problems with this (I also don't get eye problems or anything), so that's a bit odd.
I've gotten a few glitter liners by a different brand a couple of months ago, and I do get that sensation with those eyeliners as well. I don't know what causes the eyeliner to feel like that on my skin, but I only feel it when I apply it.
I don't have a big problem with it, but I'd advise you to be careful, especially if you have very sensitive eyes or skin.

I will continue to use these eyeliners and I enjoy using them a lot. I paid €3.49/eyeliner. Good deal.

PS I want to thank those of you that have been supporting me; reading my posts, liking FaceBook/Instagram posts, Twitter and so on...
You have really made this an amazing month for me and I couldn't be more thankful for you. I hope to see you soon.

Miss Sporty "Malaga" lipstick review

Hi guys!

Everyone wants a vibrant, nice, red lipstick in their makeup collection, don't they? I certainly do and I'm lucky to have quite a few colours in there that I really like already. I have recently added on to the list and I wanted to tell you all about it, because you know, if I love something, I want to share it!

I threw this one in my purse a little while ago - in case I ever needed it - and ever since it has been in there. I love wearing red lipstick and last time I was out, I went looking for my favourite red lipstick but I couldn't find it anywhere. And then I saw a little blue tube in my bag and I wondered what it was. Oooh right! The long forgotten lipstick that I hadn't used before! Until I used it, and after that it would never be forgotten anymore!

This lipstick is from a local shop called Etos (from the Netherlands). They sell a brand there called Miss Sporty and they have the most amazing products. This lipstick called "Malaga" is from Miss Sporty as well!

The colour is vibrant and pigmented. The lipstick has a very creamy texture and doesn't dry out the lips. It also smells very good! I can't describe it. Like fresh fruit. Like summer. Ahhh!

I love how this lipstick looks! Honestly, I'm crazy about it! This lipstick isn't expensive at all, yet the colour looks nice and the pigmentation is great.

Love this look!

Pressed Powders I like to use!

Hi! A little while ago I received a request to review my Miss Sporty So Matte pressed powder because I had shown it in a post. Instead of reviewing my Miss Sporty powder alone, I decided to show all the powders that I use right now and review them all for you.

I already have a review on the first powder by Essence: the all about matt fixing compact powder.
The other two powders are "Medium" by Miss Sporty and "Natur Sand" by Biocura.

The girl in the background is Marilyn Monroe! It's from "The Last Sitting" with Bert Stern in 1962!

As you can see, of all three powders I have used my Miss Sporty powder most of all. I've had it the longest. When I was younger my mother recommended this one to me and so I kept on buying it over and over again because she told me it was a really great product. This is the third Miss Sporty powder and I've even hit pan on this one! This powder has medium coverage.

I also used to tan really fast so the colour was great. These last years, tanning has become a little bit harder (it doesn't go as fast as it used to), so for the moment I'm quite pale and this powder is too dark for me. That's why I got the two other powders.

The Essence powder is really good because this one absorbs the oil on your face but it doesn't leave any colour. Needless to say I use this one most of the time now.
The Biocura powder does leave colour on your skin. This powder can be compared to the Miss Sporty powder, the only thing that's different is that the colour is lighter.

All the powders are very affordable. They all cost about thesame amount of money, which is around €3 / $4.

Do you have any powders to recommend? Leave them in the comments!

Miss Sporty lipsticks

Hello you guys!
I hope you're all having a lovely evening tonight, the weekend is starting so enjoy it!
Today I'm showing you two lipsticks by Miss Sporty. This brand can be compared to Essence and Catrice.
I got the lipsticks quite some time ago but never reviewed them. So I thought I'd do it today, since these are the perfect colours for - upcoming - spring!

I got two colours; a pink one and a nude one. The pink one is called "Pink Champagne" and the nude one is called "Strip-tease". I love it when lipsticks or other makeup/beauty products have a cute name so these names totally made my day.

The lipsticks are quite neutral. They're also a bit shimmery, which is nice, but it can be tricky as well because lipsticks that are too shimmery can make your teeth look really yellow. That's why I always apply a gloss over these lipsticks.

Here are the swatches, this is just one whipe, of course you can build up the intensity! I think these lipsticks are good quality and I like them for everyday. Also they weren't expensive at all so I'd say these lipsticks are good budgetproof products with nice quality!
