H&M lipstick review

As a beautylover, it's a bit weird that I have never tried out the make-up line from H&M. I have a few of their glitter dust items, but aside from that, I have never tried anything else.
Working for H&M has given me the chance to get to know the brand and the products. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised, because I never expected the cosmetics to be this good.

I try not to post too much about H&M because I'm a bit worried some people might just see this as a promotional post. However, when I got two of the lipsticks, I was beyond excited and couldn't just keep this to myself.

Today I'm reviewing "Lenox Lounge" for you, a beautiful, matte wine red lipstick by H&M.
The packaging of this lipstick is black and gold. I love the fact that the packaging isn't just one colour. It makes it a little more special.

Here's a swatch of what the colour of this lipstick looks like. A little darker than the red lipsticks I normally get, but so beautiful. The perfect cherry red!

Like I said, the quality surprised me in a good way. You pay €9.99 for a lipstick like this, but it's worth it.
The lipstick isn't as creamy as I hoped but it doesn't dry out your lips any more. When I eat, I touch the lipstick up once and I'm good for the rest of the day.

Enjoy the rest of your day! See you on Saturday!

H&M Tuscan eyeshadow palette

Goodmorning everyone! I'm back with a review on one of my favourite birthday presents this year. My collegues at H&M got me a Tuscan eyeshadow palette for my birthday.

This palette is absolutely gorgeous. It holds 20 eyeshadow colours that range from light to dark. There's cool toned shades and warm toned shades in this palette as well. The pops of eyeshadows in this palettes are the copper/red's and the green shades. Most of the eyeshadow colours are glittery.

This is what the palette looks like. The daylight really doesn't do it any justice. If you should come across this palette, see for yourself, it's absolutely gorgeous.
I decided I would go for a pink/copper make-up look (I've really been into coppers and reds for my eyes).

Here are some swatches from the palette. I was very surprised by the pigmentation. Sure, the darker colours have some fall out, but the colour pay off is so much better than I expected!

Here's the finished look and some close up pictures!

Thanks a lot for reading!
Have a lovely day!

Manicure Monday: Olive

Goodmorning and welcome to Manicure Monday!
Olive green has become a colour I really like. A couple of my friends have had olive green manicures before and I always think they are so beautiful, but I never had an olive manicure myself.

Last week, all the beauty products in H&M went on sale and I found two gorgeous nailpolishes: one olive green and one clear with gold flakes. Time for an olive green manicure!

"Flake it" and "Olive Grove"
Two layers of this nailpolish covers everything. So smooth and pretty. The colour is really nice as well, as an extra detail, I applied some of the gold flakes on my ring finger. Subtle but a nice detail.

Have a happy Monday!

EOTD: Universe

Last week I got new "glitter dust" by H&M. I already had some gold glitter dust and since I am so crazy about them, I've been wanting to get more.
A few days ago I found some colours I liked - and they were on sale as well! I got a silver one, a white one and a black with blue one - all for €3 a piece.

I love glitter. It comes in handy for special occassions like birthdays and New Year's celebrations, but it's also a fun to wear on a daily basis. You get to create a fun make-up look and the sparkly just makes it that extra bit special.

This look that I made today doesn't just have glitter dust, it also has a bright eyeliner and some black eyeshadow. Easier than you'd think and great to steal the show on a night out!
Oh, and when you look up, you might notice that the sky above you looks just like the make-up you have on your eyes.
Let's have a look!

I applied two shades of brown in my crease first and blended them out. Next I applied black eyeshadow all over my eyelid and just a tiny bit of glitter glue on top of that before applying the glitter dust.
I also put on black eyeliner, to put blue eyeliner on top of that later (it just shows up better when there's a base already). Some kohl liner on the waterline, mascara and done!

Not your everyday kind of look. It is a bit of a dramatic look, but it sure is fun. Below you can find two full face pictures!

Thank you again for reading today! Have a good one!
