NYC Cityproof Twistable intense lip color ♥

Hello everyone!
Today I don't have school, which means my homework is delayed a little bit. Time for telling you all about the new make-up product I got yesterday!

I am not looking for lip crayons in particular when I go shopping, but this time they had lip crayons by NYC. I had been looking for them for a really long time because I heard from different people that they found the product really good.
As a matter of fact, a lot of colours were sold out already! I was very lucky to find a colour that I liked, and that still was in stock.

The packaging of this lip crayon isn't exactly spectacular. Like all other lip crayons, it looks like a crayon and the bottom is twistable, so you don't have to sharpen your crayon. The packaging of the colour is thesame as the colour of the lip crayon.

The colour that I got is called "Gramercy Park Plum", it's a red/purple kind of colour. Even though it looked darker in the store, I was surprised by the swatch. It's a very wearable, bright, loveable girly colour.

This is what my lips look like without anything on it.
Below, you can see a picture of the product on my lips! The product is really pigmented and applies really well. Very smooth! I love the texture. It also smells amazing!

Don't you think it's beautiful? I am loving this lip crayon already!
It's perfect!
Oh! And it only cost me €3.99!

NYC Smooch Proof lipstain

When the lipstains with felt tip first came out, I was a little bit suspicious.
I mean, a lot of questions popped up. Would it really work? Isn't it weird? Is it easy to use?

I decided to try a felt tip lipstain. The one that I got is quite budget, it's the "Smooch proof lipstain" by NYC.
I tried the colour "Rock on Ruby", which is a beautiful red.

The packaging of the lipstain is simple, yet beautiful. I put it in my pencil holder most of the time because I lose it if I don't. I do mistake it for a pen sometimes, haha!

The swatch looked amazing, which got me so excited! The felt tip is also very handy to line your lip line. I always do the lip line first and then I fill in the rest of my lips.

After a couple of seconds, the lipstain has dried and you're left with beautiful red lips. No matter what you do, it won't come off (so be careful if you're trying to touch up in the car - if you colour some other part of your face, it won't come off for a while), unless you use make-upremover.
I'm glad about that because I do have some other products that don't even come off with make-upremover and it can be so annoying and painful!

The lipstain looked gorgeous for 4 hours straight (I even ate and drank) but I have this obsession with constantly checking my lipstick - or lipstain in this case - and touching it up, so that's what I did after 4 hours, just to intensify.
Oh, and the smell is so nice! It reminds me of something in my childhood, although I can't quite figger out what it is!

I'm very happy with this lipstain, I think it made a very good first impression and I'm open to trying more!

EOTD: Caramel & Chocolate - Essence pigments!

Hi everyone! I've been meaning to post this look so many times but I just never got around to taking pictures of this look.
As you all know, Essence came out with pigments quite a few months ago. I got two called "Smell the caramel", which is a colour I can't really describe so I would say 'caramel' is a good description, and "Box of chocolate", which is a brown colour.. Don't you just love the names?
The colours are quite neutral, I agree, but all the other pigments that were left in my drugstore were orange or pink ones, and I'm not really a big fan of hot pink eyeshadow on regular days, I think it's just a bit too much.
Oh and I'm sorry for updating this late, my Internet is working against me today.

Okay so here are the products that I've used: my liquid eyeliner from a local drugstore (on the left), my highlighter from NYC in "Basic Instinct" (on top), two jars of Essence pigments - the one on the left is "Smell the caramel" and the right one is "Box of chocolate" - and below, the mascara I used, it's the Mega volume black smoke mascara from L'Oréal.

Swatches! No natural daylight so that's why it looks a bit ... Erm, crappy? Anyways, the left finger is "Box of chocolate", next "Smell the caramel" and last my highlighter.

So this is how it looks... At first I was doubting a bit about how wearable it would be but it turned out to be a fun colour. You can build up the intensity if you want; start light and make it darker if you want to. I ended up liking it a lot, I would just advice to be careful with applying - especially with the darkest colour.

And that's how it looks! Let me know what you think!

November Favourites!

Hello everyone! We've been December for a while so I wanted to do a post on my favourites of November. In November I tried out a lot of things, I emptied a lot of products and I loved a lot of products! I'm going to show them now.

The first thing is my Mega volume black smoke mascara by L'oréal. This came in my October Deauty box and made me so happy! I was running out of other mascara and I actually wanted to try one by L'oréal so it was the perfect timing! Lovely product! I really enjoy using it!
This mascara is extreme black and seperates my lashes perfectly. It also makes my lashes very long!

Another product that came in my October Deauty box! The Kiehl's lipbalm. I think that I'm going to empty it soon if I keep on using it as much as I do now. I really can't help it, it's an amazing product! So moisturizing, not sticky, just perfect!

Two palettes by Essence that I've been wearing and loving! The first one (above) is a palette with four neutral colours called "To die for" and the second palette (below) is from the Sun Club collection. It's in "02 long beach". Lovely fall colours! The pigmentation is great! They were both $3.91.
Super affordable!

This blush below, called "Apricot smoothie" was a gift from my friend, a beauty lover like me. I love how there's a red, shimmery part and a more orange toned part. I love blush because I'm pale myself, especially in winter, so this product is really one of my favourite products of these last couple of months. Also, I have a thing for cute names, and this one is so lovely! I like to use a little bit because the colours are quite bright, but if you wanted to, you could build up the intensity.

Well, well, well. You shouldn't be too surprised to see the YSL volupté sheer candy glossy balm in this post. Ever since getting it, back in September, I've been using and loving this. Expensive, but so worth the money. I love the packaging by the way! (Click here to read more about this product).

Another lipproduct! This jar filled with strawberry scented nourishing lipbalm is by Yves Rocher. I let my sister convince me to bring this home. Holy moly, that is one of the most expensive lipbalms I've ever got (basically because I normally just get the cheap drugstore ones- they work just fine). But okay, it's worth the price. Oh, and also, don't count on finishing this jar in a month, it'll take a lot longer, trust me!

Recently I had an acne break out so I was so so happy I had this allround concealer palette by Catrice to help me hide the blemishes!
This one comes with a green to conceal rednesses, a pink to conceal dark circles under your eyes and three shades of brown. You could mix the colours to get the shade of your skintone. This palette is a good buy because it costs a lot less than buying five different single concealers. Also, like all the other Catrice products, you can count on quality.

And last but not least: "Basic instinct" eyeshadow by New York Color (NYC). I use this as a highlighter and god, it is such a lovely colour!
