FOTD: Mom 💄

Hello! How are you?

I've been spending a lot of time with friends and family recently. Last night I spent time with my mom and I did her make-up. My mom doesn't wear make-up that often because she has very sensitive skin but she sucked it up and made the best of it.

Of course I decided I wanted some pictures for the blog! 

 We went for full face make-up with contouring and everything. Mom wanted a smokey eye so that's what we did, we ended up adding green. We both were very happy with the endresult! What do you think?

OOTD: Oral exam

As you know I recently had exams. I always fear the exams a little, mainly because I don't know what to expect. Oral exams are the scariest to me, I'm always afraid to black out and because I can be such a stressed out person sometimes, I only make it worse for myself.

Today's outfit is the outfit that I wore to my last exam - an oral exam. I like to go for black clothing because it always looks more sophisticated/classy. Also, I just feel really comfortable in black clothes. I may not always feel good about oral exams but if you feel good in the clothes you're wearing, part of your problem is already solved. 

This outfit is an all black outfit, except for the jeans jacket that I'm wearing. I got this jacket a few weeks ago and I think it looks a little edgy, I feel really good in it. You can't really see it in the pictures but there are some rhinestones attached, which is pretty. The top that I'm wearing is black, it's see through at the top and it's embellished. I paired it with my black pants from H&M and new wedges from H&M.

I liked this look a lot. It's not over the top but I felt like it was nice enough for an oral exam and I sure felt good in it.

FOTD: College friend ♥

As someone who is very interested in make-up, beauty and hair, I spend a lot of time on the Internet. I like to read other blogs to get insiration or watch videos/tutorials on youtube.

When I first started going to college, way back in September, I never thought I'd meet someone equally interested/obsessed with youtube beauty guru's and blogs. But I did meet someone like that, my good friend Rani.

We have been spending so much time working on school assignments and studying for exams that somehow, our passion got a little lost during the year. Now that the exams are over, I decided it was time to do what I hadn't done in so long: make-up!

Before going out I did a neutral smokey eye on Rani, using "Texture" from MAC as the main eyecatcher. All the other colours I used were different shades of brown.

I realised that it's been too long since I've been doing what I love; blogging, doing make-up. Anyway, I will be working on my timemanagement, as I've said many times before on this blog, and here are a few pictures of the make-up I did on my gorgeous friend!

OOTD: Navy

Happy Monday! 

 

I'm back with another outfit of the day! This one was snapped by a new friend of mine (we met through a mutual friend). He liked the outfit I was wearing while I was on a studydate with our mutual friend and decided to take some pictures.

The weather outside was so nice. It was very hot, almost too hot to handle if it wasn't for the soft breeze.

I had a really good day that day, met a lot of people and had a lot of fun! Oh, and as for the studying - we ended up doing that as well and we both passed the exam!

The bathing suit that I'm wearing is one that I got at New Look last year. It has such a rockabilly/pin-up feel to it, I love it!

The high waisted shorts, which I was happy to pull out of the back of my closet, are by H&M. I wore them with the cutest sandals by New Look.

I ended up having a great time and I love the pictures! Some of them were taken without me knowing which worked out pretty well, I'm not really used to that, I normally make a really weird faces when I'm talking but this time, I actually looked normal.

Essence sunset @ center stage blush review

Hey you guys! How are you doing?

I recently started using a new blush. I found this ombre looking blush by Essence and I thought it would be absolutely amazing. There's a little bit of peach and a little bit of pink in this blush, and the colour goes from very dark to very light.

 

The packaging of this blush isn't really spectacular, even though it's from a limited edition. I think they did this because they didn't want to take away from the ombre look of this blush.
