OOTD: Back to burgundy

 

Hey you guys!
Today I had my Dutch exam but I also had an oral examination. When you're in your final year, you get to dress all classy for oral exams (boys in suit and tie, girls in dresses with heels) so it's a lot of fun. I'm not in my final year yet, but I decided to wear something pretty as well today. No heels for me, unfortunately, I was wearing skin coloured tights and they make me slip out of my shoes so I played safe and put on my ballet flats instead.

I went for my burgundy skirt with polka dots and a black belt paired with a black T-shirt, a bolero jacket and ballet flats.
Everything exept the ballet flats and the bolero is by H&M. The bolero I'm wearing is by New Yorker. The ballet flats are from a local shop called Shoe Discount.

H&M "Nudes" eyeshadow palette review

Hello you guys! When I was in Paris last week, I did some shopping. We didn't have much time so I only went to H&M and New Look, but I did get some really nice items there. Most of the items I brought home with me were makeup, such as this palette. This palette is by H&M, it's called "Nudes" and holds - as you can see - five nude colours.

 

The packaging is quite simple. I like that you can see what colours the palette holds without having to open it.

All the colours in this palette are cold colours. I'm very curious to see if they suit me because normally I wear warm colours such as gold and bronze.

And here are the swatches. The lighter colours disappoint me. They aren't pigmented really well. The pink eyeshadow is barely visible. The grey-ish colours are a little bit more pigmented.

I will be making looks with this palette and I'll see how it works. Pictures will be up soon! Thanks for reading! 

H&M lipgloss review

Hi everyone! Today I'm reviewing a lipgloss by H&M. I do own one other lipgloss and I like to wear it from time to time.
Now, I got my second one and I'm going to tell you what I think of it!

The packaging of the lipgoss is very cute, it's an orange kind of colour. It's called "Coral". The cap has little pink and white stripes on it, which I like very much. It reminds me of summer, candy and happiness.

 

Just like my other lipgloss from H&M, very little colour comes off. It's not that nothing comes off, it's just not very pigmented. It does make my lips look kind of sparkly, which I love.

I wouldn't buy it if I was looking for a lipgloss with good pigmentation, but I think this one is nice enough for everyday, casual use.

Drugstore beauty haul

Hi everyone! Like I mentioned in my post yesterday, I spent the day shopping. I had saved up quite a bit of money and it was time for me to just get out there and buy new things (it has been almost a year since I got new clothes so...).
