Hello!
Today I have an "August empties" post for you!
I'm not sure if you know this but I'm doing the 20 products makeup challenge, which means that you have to empty 20 makeup products before you can buy makeup again. I'm actually doing this because sometimes I buy too much makeup and I never really empty anything so...
This month I did actually empty a bit. Last month I only had one empty so I skipped my empties post then and I just put it in this post. (In case you want to know: last month's empty was a pack of makeup remover whipes).
I will list the products I emptied below!
*Lancaster mini sunscreen (I used this before putting on makeup)
*Makeup remover whipes
*Catrice BB cream
*Kérastase Shampoo
*Drugstore teal pencil eyeliner
*Essence liquid eyeliner
*YSL Sheer candy glossy balm (Oh gosh, I'm going to miss this! My very first high end product....)

August favies!
Hello beauties! Time for today's post, which is my August favies post. Can you believe August is gone already? Wow, time flies! I remember when I was a kid and everything went so slow in my opinion - I never understood why adults said "time flies" but now that I'm growing up myself, gosh, they were right.
Enough rambling for now! I bet you'd rather see my favourites of this month! Okay so as you probably know if you read this blog often, I got some MAC products in the beginning of the month and there are a lot of the products in today's post. I was thinking earlier, by the way, about the way I do my favourites posts and wouldn't it be easier if I just categorized? I'll try it today and see if you guys complain, haha!
I will also link the products that I have reviewed rightaway, in case you missed it!
Lip products:
- Fanta Red Fruit lipsmacker
- MAC Russian Red lipstick
Highlighter:
Face:
Eyebrow stuff:
Eyeshadow:
- MAC palette ("Honey Lust" and "Bronze")

EOTD: Sunset
Hi everyone! These last few weeks I have been obsessed with colour again. I have these "fases" a couple of times a year where I like a certain look. Right now, I especially love to wear colour - in my makeup look also.
I used to like it for special events or just to try "something new" at home or when I was going out, but I actually wore the following look to work and I got a lot of positive comments on it.
I'm also thinking of doing tutorials more often, I don't know if it'll be in video or in photo form though. That being said, we can now go onto the look! A list of all the products used can be found at the end of this post!
Enjoy!
Products used:
E.L.F. 144 piece bright eyeshadow palette
Essence mascara
Essence liquid eyeliner

Back to school in general: makeup
Hello everyone! Today I'm going to be showing you a few makeup palettes that are great to wear to school in general. You can wear these products every day. Even if you're not in school, you could still use these on a daily basis.
The first palette that I would recommend is the biggest one and also the most "expensive" one. Well, I don't know if you can call it expensive, because these 144 colours together cost $16, which is less than one MAC eyeshadow.
This palette is called the "144 piece neutral eyeshadow palette" and it's by E.L.F.
I'm absolutely in love with it! You can read my review on this palette here. It is quite big so if you're not a big makeup fan I wouldn't start out with this but if you are and if you like to experiment: here you go!
Those are my three go-to, favourite palettes for wearable, neutral looks! Oh, by the way, this is also my last back to school series post, I hope you enjoyed reading and I hope you got something out of it!

Next, I have the Essence quattro eyeshadow palette in "To Die For" on the left. It holds the loveliest colours.
On the right, you can see my "Absolute nude eyeshadow palette" by Catrice. This one has been insanely popular and I can see why. Six beautiful colours, good pigmentation, cheap.

OOTD: Corn
Hi guys! A lot of times when I go take outfit pictures, I like to take pictures of my "photographers" too! I finally convinced my gay best friend to let me take his outfit pictures and he actually started a fashion blog himself! I'm so excited, check his blog out if you'd like! (EDIT: he deleted already because he had "no views" the second day. Well erm, patience, ahum!)
Okay so I took his pictures and then it was my turn! I actually didn't think about my outfit a lot that day, I just threw on something I found in my closet and left! Here are the pictures!

Back to school series part #5: makeup ideas!
Hi everyone! Time to go over makeup looks for the new school year! I have a few looks that I like to wear in particular, today I'm going to show you my three go to makeup looks. If you want to see a tutorial, please ask for it so I can make one and put it up before September rolls around!
The first look is a look that I've been wearing a lot this summer. I'm sure it'll be wearable in the next few months as well. You might have to replace the blue eyeliner with black eyeliner once December comes (but those are worries for later).
I'm talking about the colour pop makeup look: it's so easy, you can do whatever you want with your eyelid, it's just important to have a bright eyeliner on your waterline. Most of the time I go for a neutral look wih a winged eyeliner but you could even just use mascara and it would still look good! Great for experimental girls.
Next I have thesame look but without the coloured liner. Some days I put eyeshadow on, some days it's just eyeliner. Fine. You do have to practive a little bit but when you know how to do, it only takes 10 seconds.
And last but not least I have the makeup that I do when I'm late or when I'm not in the mood to do my makeup. Either I put on a little eyeshadow and mascara, done. Sometimes I only do mascara, especially on hot days. Simplest makeup look ever!
Let me know if there are any tutorials that you want to see! See you soon!
Back to school series #4: hairdo ideas!
Even if your makeup and clothes are cute, going back to school isn't quite thesame without the "perfect" hair as well! I'm back with another "back to school" post and this time we're talking hair!
Today I'll be showing you three different, easy hairstyle for back to school.
First of all I have a braid. No matter what braid it is, you can choose. I love the French braid but also the fishtail braid is a hairstyle that I like a lot. Cute, wearable and you're hair is out of the way!
Another hairstyle that you could do is curls. Beachy waves, loose curls, pincurls, there's choice enough! I myself have a bit of "wavy" hair but sometimes I put in curls as well and I think it looks totally glam! Of course you could also straighten it.
The last hairstyle has been very popular this year: a knot on top of your head. You could make a messy bun like I did in this picture or you could use a donut roll to make a ballerina bun, there are so many things you can do with this concept! It's quick and beautiful!
Those are the three most wearable hairstyles for school that I picked! I hope it was helpful!

MAC "Texture" review
Hello everyone! Time for another mono eyeshadow review! Today I'm going to show you another mono eyeshadow that I got at MAC for my birthday.
This eyeshadow is called "Texture".
I'm going to be honest: I would have NEVER in a million years picked up this colour if they let me pick colours myself. I was looking around a bit and then the makeup artist asked me if she could help me so I asked for eyeshadows that were wearable but orange or copper toned because they make blue eyes stand out and that's what I wanted.
She came up with two colours and actually applied both of them on my eyes. I thought it looked great and took them both home! You can read my review on the first mono eyeshadow here.
This is what the colour looks like. You'd say it's more skintoned but in real life it looks orange. I told the makeup artist that I was scared it was going to be too bright or not wearable but when I opened my eyes after she put it on, I couldn't believe how nice and neutral it looked. Not over the top at all!
The picture below is how the eyeshadow looks with flash. As you can see there's a teeny tiny bit of shimmer in it. Not an overwelming amount though.
Swatch! This is one whipe, pretty good, huh?
And then again, the picture I showed you in my other post as well: the look. "Texture" is used in my crease here. "Woodwinked" is on my lid.
Conclusion? I never thought a colour like this would be something for me but I'm absolutely in love with it these days!
Thanks for reading! Stay safe!

Weekly Diary
Hi sweeties! Time for another weekly diary! Go ahead, grab some cookies and a drink, because this week I have a lot of pictures for you! Let's get started!
Soon, I'll be going back to school and so I'm trying to enjoy the last weeks. This week has been a little bit of a lazy week, I have worked a lot on the blog, but that's it! It also doesn't feel like "working", I like it too much to call it "work".
I enjoyed writing my back to school series this week! I was a little bit doubting if I should give you outfit ideas at first because my style is not everyone's taste but I tried two. We'll see, if you like it, you like it, if you don't, you don't.
Finally learned how to depot my MAC eyeshadows. The only reason I did it is because I didn't know the name of one of the colours in my palette. Now I do! I also put up a tutorial on this subject already!
Caterpillars! We have a few trees in the garden and one of the trees was full of caterpillars! While I was taking this picture, a few other caterpillars got on my arms, it was so cute! If you wait long enough, you just might become the most beautiful butterfly in the world!
Like this one! Love how close I could get to this baby!
Cleaning my brushes! Has to happen too!
Meeting up with a friend and his dog! Her name is Molly and she's the cutest thing!
"I'll take care of you"
I'm obsessed with taking pictures of the sun and sky. So pwetty! :) lol I'm such a kid!
Outfit of the day! Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to shoot outfit pictures but I wanted to give you a little sneak peek! Necklace and shirt by New Look, bra by H&M.
New dresses! I'm so in love with these babies! I have to work hard to earn some money but when I finally get to buy dresses like these, I forget all the hard work!
Remember last week that I told you about my best friends tattoo? I didn't show it back then because I wanted to get permission first and... I got it! Check out this gorgeous piece of art! Ah! I wish it was on me!
That's it for this week! Did you have fun this week?
Thanks for reading and have a lovely day!

Back to school series part #3: "dressy" outfit ideas!
Hello everyone! I'm back with another back to school series post today! I recently put up some outfit ideas but I wanted to put some more "dressy" ones up. So here are two other outfit ideas!
The first one, I have done an outfit of the day post on already. It's pretty simple. I paired a high-low top with golden buttons with my leopard skirt. Next, I added some gold accessories. And shoes, either brown or black. That's it! Simple, quick, easy and yet stylish!
Top: H&M
Skirt: H&M
Necklace: H&M
Ring: H&M
Earrings: Six
Shoes: H&M
In general, I think stores like Zara, H&M and New Look have amazing dresses and skirts. If you're looking for something cute, you can always go for their dresses or pair their skirts with basic T-shirts and accessories. Either way, I didn't want to leave you with that so I have a second outfit!
This is a little black dress (if you don't know what to wear, always go for a little black dress). Now there are a few ways you can wear it: with wedges or with ballet flats. With a statement necklace or just with pearl bracelets, earrings and hairflowers.
I put my statement necklace from New Look in this picture, along with shiny earrings that go with it very well and two simple rings with a little 'diamond' in the middle.
Of course you can switch it up if you want to. I think this dress would look fabulous with a big, bright blue statement necklace or a belt from Zara. I don't have one though.
You could do anything with it really.

HOW TO: depot your MAC palette
Hi everyone! A few weeks ago I bought my very first palette at MAC. I got two colours, just to try, but when I came home and I wanted to review them, I realised I only remembered one of the names.
What now?! I've been trying to open the palette but it wouldn't work. Today, I finally found the trick - and I know what the name of my second eyeshadow is now!
So, this is what we start with. Two colours in a palette.
Notice the edge between the pan and the palette. It's a teeny tiny space but you can get in between it if you want to. Now I'm not going to be using alcohol or heat to get it out safely. The only thing you need is something thin and sharp, like a nail file or a safety pin, tweezers, just anything you can get your hands on.
I used my tweezers for this. Both ends of my tweezers are very small.
So I used the "head" of my tweezers and pushed lightly on the edge of the pan. Very carefully so that you don't damage your eyeshadow colour. You'll see that once you pushed a little bit, the pan will come out a little bit and you'll be able to grab it.
I put my tweezers under it to prevent it from falling back into the palette.
And now you have depotted your eyeshadows!
That's how easy it is! I now know that the colour I forgot the name of is called "Honey Lust".
And the other colour is called "Bronze".
Little tip: if you want to be able to take out your eyeshadows easily without having to use your tweezers all the time, you can put some yarn in the spaces before you put the eyeshadows back in. Next time, you can pull both ends of your yarn and the eyeshadow will be out in no time!
I hope this post was useful! Reviews of the eyeshadows will be up soon! Thanks for reading!
