1 2 3... Perfect?

I've always had a love/hate relationship with my skin. Some days I like how it looks. Some days I wake up, look at myself, and want to crawl back into bed.
I have recently had some problems with my skin ànd I also ran out of my holy grail BB cream. Some would say this is a bad day, I thought it was a reason to go shopping for new make-up!

There were so many different options, but I've never had a Bourjois foundation.Until now!

The cat was interested for sure!

The packaging of this product is quite simple. I love the different colours  on it. It says "1 2 3", and then it says which three functions this foundation should have.
I was quite interesting to see if the results were as nice as promised!

When I first used this foundation, I noticed that maybe the shade was a little too yellow for me. It did work out just fine though.
This is what my face looks like after using the foundation. It's quite nice! I'm used to wearing a BB cream so I thought my foundation would feel "heavier" but actually, it doesn't feel heavy at all. The foundation covers most of my blemishes, it's medium coverage, but if I really have an acne break out or a tough spot, I need to go in with additional concealer.

I'm happy with the foundation! Maybe next time I could get another shade but everything else worked out as good as I hoped it would!
I paid €15.99 for this foundation. It is one of the more expensive foundations in the drugstore, but it works great!

Fresh spring day make-up look

Hey guys! How are you doing?
These last few days have been quite warm and sunny, which made me very happy! I came up with a bright, fresh make-up look today.
This make-up look contains greens and some silver, not something that I would normally do, but I thought it didn't look that bad. I used my The Balm "Balm Voyage" palette and my MAC palette using "Steamy" and "Plumage". I also used my Wet 'n Wild "Greed" palette for a neutral crease colour. You can click the links to read reviews on each seperate product.

Here are the pictures!
I also recorded a video, but I have yet to decide if I like the quality enough to put it on YouTube! For now, let me know what you think of this look!

EOTD: Stormy weather

Don't know why
There's no sun up in the sky
Stormy weather
....

I drew my inspiration for today's make-up look from Etta James' song. I don't work with gray colours very often because I simply prefer wearing gold/orange/brown/nude shades, but I do like the change, for once!

I used my "Balm Voyage" palette for this look. It's my third palette by The Balm and I am still very convinced of its quality. I put on some eyeliner and mascara as well (by Essence, as always).

Let me know what you think!

GHENT

Hi everyone!
As you know, I love to travel around and visit new places. Recently, I've done two blogposts about Bruges (click here and here to read the posts) and this summer I did a few posts on my trip to Barcelona, Spain. (Click here and here for the places we saw. And here, here and here for outfits).

Last week I had the tast to introduce a group of international students to Belgium. We saw quite a few places that week. One of those places was Ghent.
When I got home and looked at the pictures that I took in Ghent, that I thought it might be nice to share these with you.

All the students were very surprised and excited about Ghent. If you ever find yourself in Belgium, don't forget to visit Ghent!

Manicure: True Love! ♥

Hello everyone! How have you been doing?
I'm quite busy this week, as you might have noticed. I'm guiding Erasmus students around with a couple of my friends, so I'm looking forward to that! Before I leave, I'd like to tell you at the nailpolish that I decided to go for today!
It's one that I've actually had for quite a while, yet I've never written a post about it!

This nailpolish is probably the nicest berry/red-ish nailpolish I own. It's by Essence and it's called "True love".
This nailpolish, like other Essence nailpolishes, is very affordable and good quality! Two layers are enough for the perfect coverage and the texture is so nice!

I absolutely LOVE this nailpolish, I think it's very cute: girly but still classy.
Not too harsh!
What do you think?
