Big Sean ♥

Hi you guys! How are you doing? I couldn't be better. My exams are finished and to celebrate, we went to see Big Sean in the captial of Belgium, Brussels on Wednesday the 17th of June.

I am so impressed and so pleasantly surprised that I just need to tell you guys about it.

I'm going to be honest, I haven't been a Big Sean fan since the beginning, I started listening to him when "Ass" featuring Nicki Minaj came out. Ever since, my admiration has been growing.

Two of my closest friends wanted nothing more than to go, so I tagged along. My god, what an experience.

 

Big Sean inspired me so much last night. Not only by the lyrics of his music, but also by the personal things he shared and telling the people in the audience to keep dreaming and to never give up. I love it when people give a speech and you can just feel the strength and motivation flow through your vains.

I love how he talked about his family with so much passion, I think Big Sean is someone with a tremendous amount of respect, love and honour for the important people in his life, which was so good to see.

My friends and I expected Big Sean to be good, but we never thought it'd be this good. We had so much fun and it's very nice to just have that kind of team spirit with people at a concert, even though you don't really know each other.

Belgium is absolutely crazy about Big Sean and I can more than ever relate! 

OOTD: Maxi

Hello everyone! How have you been doing?
It's been quite a while since I last updates this blog. As you might know, I am now in college and I have been struggeling with timemanagement a bit.
These last few weeks I have been taking exams, which is why I didn't upload. I don't want to fail my exams so that's what I have been focussing on.
However, it won't be long until the exams are finally over and I have spent some time working on the blog recently.
I feel like apologizing for not updating often is becoming a habit and I'm not too happy about it, but I would like to do it one more time.

Now that's settled, here's an outfit of the day!
This maxi dress is the most amazing dress I have ever seen. I got it at H&M and I just love everything about it: the way it looks, the way it feels, it's just absolutely gorgeous! The jacket that I'm wearing is by Moggy's.

EOTD: A touch of purple

Hello everyone! How have you been? 

Sometimes when I start putting on make-up, I have an idea of what the end result should look like. But when it's finished, it doesn't look like what I expected first. Simply because I tried something new or I was inspired by something else all of a sudden.

Today I wanted just a little bit of pink eyeshadow on my lid and maybe some liquid liner, but then I looked at my gorgeous MAC palette and though 'well, it's been a while since I've used those gorgeous purple eyeshadows, I should use them more often'. And so I did.

 

I applied my "Pink gold" Color Tattoo by Maybelline all over my lid first. Then I used MAC's "Star Violet" for the middle part of my eye and I applied "Sketch", also by MAC, on the outer corner. I didn't apply the colours any higher than my crease.

After that I blended all the colours, you shouldn't be able to see harsh lines, they should gradually fade.

I applied a bit of eyeliner and mascara, both by Essence (as always) and that's the finished look!

Manicure Monday

Hello everyone! How have you been doing? 

I've been really good but also really busy  because exams are coming up and I have a lot of work to catch up on! 

It's been quite a while since I uploaded a manicure Monday but I really wanted to share what my nails currently look like. I've never had acrylic nails before but since mine keep breaking and fake nails that you can glue on keep falling off, I decided to get acrylic.

I didn't want a colour that was too dark since summer is around the corner but then I saw this blue and I fell in love... It's a bit darker than I wanted the colour to be, but it's oh such a lovely colour! 

What do you think? Which nailpolish would you recommend to me?

EOTD: Fifty shades of green!

Hello everyone! How are you doing?

Lately, I haven't been wearing a lot of eyeshadow, due to a busy schedule and just no time to experiment. I do miss experimenting with make-up a lot, I used to have a lot more time.

Today I had 30 minutes to spare and so I decided to create a look using three different greens and a couple of brown eyeshadows.

It's still quite neutral from a distance, but if you look closer, you'll see there's more to this look. 

 

I'm trying to incorporate more colour in my looks, since summer is on it's way and I like to change up my looks every once in a while.

I'll also try to make some more photo tutorials soon!
