Weekly Diary

Hello everyone! Wow, it's the first Sunday of the year! Today I'm going to take you through my week! The beginning of the week was quite calm, I didn't have to work so I had all the time in the world to relax and find myself a nice dress for New Year's Eve.

The tradition at work is that on New Year's Eve, all the ladies wear dresses. But they have to be black, so I came up with this little black dress that has rhinestones on the shoulders. Simple, but I thought it was classy! My hair was up in a bun.

Around 1.30 am, I changed outfits and we went out to celebrate the new year. This is the dress I wore, I think it looks so beautiful and classy! It's by New Look by the way, I got it on sale, but that doesn't make it less pretty, now does it?

After New Year's I started working on different articles for the blog again. I also worked for school.
One of the posts that is coming up will be featuring this look. I don't know if you can see the "damaged" spot in my crease area, but I actually burned myself on New Year's Eve, a couple of hours before 2013 ended and 2014 started.

I'm in the kitchen for five minutes and I burn myself. In the face. I don't know how I do it. But well yeah, it happened. I can only wait for it to heal up.

Chinese food! Love it! I don't eat it a lot but I always feel like, when I haven't eaten something for a really long time, it tastes so much better!

New Years resolutions! I actually added a lot of achievable things this year, such as reading more. Yay! Also, a few sequals of favourites book series are coming out this year, so that'll be a huge motivation to read!

I'm also reading this book called "Bodie Boost". It's a book about healthy eating but it's not quite a diet. If you want to read more about it, let me know and I might do a post on this blog.

Thanks for reading!

NEW IN: The Iron Fey series!

One of my new years resolutions is to read and write more. It's simple and easy, but setting achievable goals are the first step toward self improvement, I believe, so here I am.
It's a bit sad how little I've read in 2013, knowing I've been a bookworm for the last couple of years.
Time to change that! I decided I want to read at least one book a week.

I might not always be able to read a lot, especially during exams or when it's really busy at work, but I'm going to try it and I'm so excited! I have a pile of books waiting for me to open and enjoy them, but as a little extra motivation, I got this series called "The Iron Fey series" by Julie Kagawa. It's a young adult thriller/fantasy book and I thought it looked especially appealing. I just hope it's not written in a too childish way, because that's often a little something with fantasy books, but I have good expectations!

So yeah, last year there weren't too many book reviews but hopefully this year it will change. I'm really excited to see if I will be able to read at least 52 books this year (I've done it before but I was only starting high school then - now I'm finishing high school so it's much much busier!).

Have you read this series? Are there any books/series you could recommend? Thanks for reading!

2013 in outfit pictures!

Hello you guys!
I thought it would be fun to review 2013 in outfit pictures! I had quite a few of them, but I decided to pick the best ones for this post. Personally I love how you can see my hair color change and even my style change a little bit. Hopefully, I'll get to take more outfit pictures next year!
Enjoy!

Thanks for reading!

December empties!

Hello everyone!
December is officially over so here is my December empties post! I never empty many products in one month, this month I also only have two products.

The first product is my liquid eyeliner by Essence. This is my second or third eyeliner, but what can I say, I use it on a daily basis. Love this eyeliner though, cheap and good quality!

Next, I also emptied my Schwarzkopf Gliss Kur hair repair mask which is basically a mask that you need to leave in your hair for 1 minute and it will help stop hairbreakage.
I actually liked this, I thought it did good things for my hair.

So that's it for today! Thanks for reading guys!

HAPPY 2014!

Hello everyone! I just stopped by to say HAPPY NEW YEAR!
2014 has started and I hope you all celebrated and had a good time. I myself have been working until after midnight but that's fine because I got to celebrate with the people I work with, they're like a second family!

I wore a black dress to work for the occasion! It has a couple of rhinestones on the shoulders and I loved it! All of my other female (and male) collegues were dressed up as well. So pretty! I wish we had gotten a group photo but it's kind of hard since everyone is always running around taking orders!

Later that night, I switched to this dress for going out. I was doubting at first because, well, it's quite fancy and chique and I didn't want to be the only one all dressed up in a maxi dress but in the end, I wore it. I didn't even get many weird looks haha!
I certainly enjoyed my night and I can't wait for 2014! I'm still adding resolutions to my list such as "reading more", "swearing less" and "complain less" and I hope I can make most of them (or even all of them) work out!

Thanks for reading! Enjoy!
