Hey everyone!
How are you doing? I'm so sorry for not keeping up, I reached my Internet limit too soon this month so I couldn't update.
Today I have an eye of the day for you. This one is Jaclyn Hill inspired. If you don't know who Jaclyn Hill is, look her up on Youtube. She's a gorgeous make-up artist who used to work for MAC and now makes videos!
I had a party to go to so I decided to try out this beautiful make-up look, and this is the result!
For this look, I used my ELF 144 colours palette, my Nars palette in "Mélusine", my Nude 'Tude palette and my MAC pigment in "Rose".
I hope you like this look! Let me know what you think!

Weekly Diary
Hello you guys!
How have you been doing? I'm glad to tell you that my exams are almost over! I didn't upload my weekly diary last Sunday due to a string of events that kept me from blogging.
One day late, here I am with my weekly diary!
My week hasn't been special. From Monday to Thursday I was studying and taking exams.
Last Thursday, I had my last exam, which was my history exam. I'm so happy the exams are over, now I don't have to feel guilty about watching TV, haha!
Having to study during the Christmas break is a whole new experience and it was something that I had to get used to!
I also went to a few parties, which was really nice, I saw a lot of people that I hadn't seen for a while.
This weekend we went to a couple of pet shops. I got some new fish in amazing colours. My tank is in my bedroom so I can watch my gorgeous fish swim around when I'm laying in bed, about to fall asleep.
In one of the pet shops, they actually recreated the Nemo tank! I think it was so beautiful and the fish looked amazing! I would for sure like to have a tank like that!
After watching a bunch of animals (and falling in love over and over again), my sister decided to adopt a little bunny. I like animals a lot so I'm happy the pet family is expanding!
She's such a cute little thing.
That was my week! I hope you had a nice one yourself!
Thanks for reading!

After the exams, my friend and I decided to go get a drink and talk a little. It had been a month or so since we had a decent talk, so we caught up with everything that was going on.

EOTD: Sweet and sophisticated!
Hello everyone! How are you?
The exams are finally over! I'm relieved!
Today I have an eye of the day for you. This eye of the day is pretty basic, but I thought it looked good. Sophisticated and not too much, just the way I like it every once in a while.
I used my MAC eyeshadows in "Texture", "Bronze" and "Espresso" in my crease and outer corner and I used a beautiful pale pink on my lid. This eyeshadow is called "Paradisco" and it's by MAC as well!
As always, I put on liquid eyeliner and mascara.
And this is what the finished makeup look looks like!
Thanks for reading!

"The Selection" by Kiera Cass bookreview ♥
It's been a while since I've done a bookreview. Every year I challenge myself to read as much as I can but last year I had a bad year and I didn't read a lot at all.
I did collect quite a few new books! This year, I decided I'd start my year with this beautiful book.
The book that I read is called "The Selection", it's a young adult book by Kiera Cass and it's the first part in a trilogy.
This book kind of reminds me of reality tv in which people try to find a lover. The prince in this book has come of age and is now looking for a princess, so all the girls that are the right age are invited to participate in this contest to become his girlfriend.
America Singer is one of those girls. She doesn't want to go, but she needs the money and she promised her parents she would participate. They don't know she already has a boyfriend but a few days before she leaves he breaks up with her, so she decides to just go and make the best of it.

The prince and the public seem to like her from the very first minute and of course that means some of the girls see her as competition and want her out as fast as possible.
I really like the way this book is written, it really sucks me in and that's what I like in a book. It's a bit of a chick flick but I love a chick flick every once in a while!
I would really recommend this book if you're into Young Adults. I am and I love this book! I will for sure read the second and third book!
Thanks for reading!

Fitspiration #5: quotes
Hey everyone! How are you?
I'm almost finished with my exams so I have some time to write! I'm so sorry for not updating this last week, I've said before that my education comes first and well... I just wanted to make good exams, it's the first time I'm taking exams in college so that's exciting!
Today I wanted to do another fitspiration post! I have collected a bunch of quotes that really spoke to me, so I decided I'd put them online. I find that it is a little harder for me to stay motivated, so finding quotes like this gives me an extra boost!
How do you stay motivated?
I hope you have an awesome day! Thanks for reading!

EOTD: Sunrise
Hello everyone! How are you doing?
It's been a really long time since I've used my Essence "all about sunrise" palette because I feel like it's a palette for summer. But with all the bad weather, I desperately needed something to lighten up my day.
For the first time in a couple of months, I used this palette for my eye of the day today! I kept it quite simple; I used the yellow eyeshadow on my lid after priming with Essence I ♥ stage eyeshadow base. After that I used the lightest colour in my crease, the darker brown on the outer corner and the darkest, grey eyeshadow on top of the brown.
After blending everything, I used the white eyeshadow as a highlight!
I finished this look by putting on liquid eyeliner (ah, it's almost empty!) and mascara by Essence. This is the finished look!
Do you like this look? Let me know!
Thanks so much for reading! I hope you have a good day!

OOTD: All red everything
Hey you guys! What's up?!
The weather doesn't allow me to take pictures outside (we're having a lot of wind and rain) but I didn't let that stop me! Here's an outfit of the day!
In my post on how to wear statement necklaces, I said I like to wear statement necklaces with blazers. That's exactly what I'm doing in this post! I like to wear basics and just spice them up with accessories.
I think this outfit would be lovely if I had a black and white striped shirt, but I don't have one for the moment. Instead of wearing black and making this outfit too dark, I went for a white T-shirt.
I spiced up my basic white T-shirt with my burgundy blazer and my favourite blue necklace. The chain of my necklace is gold, so it matched my new watch and my bracelet.
- T-shirt: H&M
- Pants: H&M
- Blazer: C&A
- Necklace: H&M
- Watch: Claire's
- Bracelet: H&M
- Lipstick: "107" by Kate Moss for Rimmel London
Have a good day!

EOTD: A whole lotta rain!
Today I was inspired by the weather! It was a dark and extremely rainy day. I decided I wouldn't let the weather get me down and I used it as inspiration for my eye make-up!
This look is a look with blue eyeshadow colours, silver and black. As always, I started by using a primer. The eyeshadow primer that I like to use is "I ♥ Stage eyeshadow base".
After that, I used a light silver colour as transition colour in my crease. Then I used one of my favourite MAC eyeshadows, called "Deep Truth" in my crease and I applied some black eyeshadow from my "Nude Tude" palette by The Balm in my outer corner.
The only thing left to do next is to apply a lid colour. I used a frost blue eyeshadow for that, I think it's so, so beautiful!
After that I applied a really thin line of eyeliner: black liquid eyeliner on the top bottom and white pencil eyeliner on my lower waterline. The finishing touch with mascara and done!
This is the finished look! Let me know what you think!
Have a good day!
