Pierced

Hello everyone!
How's it going? My life has changed a lot the last couple of weeks! I've seen and done a lot of things that I had never done before. One of the things I changed is my nose. I finally pierced it. I'm a huge fan of piercing and tattoos, but I didn't have piercings or tattoos of my own.
I've wanted this for a long time, but I never did it.
Until last week my friend and I were talking about it. It didn't take long to decide, I got my piercing a couple of days later!

I did only pierce my nose because I think it's delicate and subtle, I wouldn't pierce anything in my face (partly because I'm not allowed - both for teaching and working). 

What do you think? Are you a piercing/tattoo person? Do you have any piercings?

Schedule update!

Hello everyone!
As you might have noticed I've been struggling with keeping the blog updated. I mentioned a couple of times that I was back for the full 100% and I would start updating more but it is simply not possible.
I'm struggling to find time between going to school, working, keeping a social life and teaching. I don't want to give up the blog under any circumstances, but I need to make some changes. Instead of posting everyday, I will be posting three times each week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and every other week I will upload a Weekly Diary.

 

This is not only easier for me because now my posts will be more regular, it's also a lot easier for you, because you now know when to expect a new post!
Also, I think it's all about quality, not quantity!

This should be the last change and I hope this will be able to keep it up! Thanks for understanding and my apologies!

My favourite spring do!

Spring is in town and I'm so excited about it!
I find that I'm in a better mood when the sun is shining. In spring, I like to give my hair some extra attention. I'm not very good with hair, I either straighten it or put it in a ponytail, but a friend of mine is very talented and passionate about hair.
She can do the most amazing hairstyles and recently I've been into braids so she braids my hair everytime I ask her to. (I'm going to have to learn how to do it myself though!)

My favourite hairstyle at the moment is the fishtail braid. It keeps your hair out of your face and I think it looks really cute. It's something else, it's a change, and I like that.

About my absence ♥

Hello everyone! Happy Thursday! How have you been doing? It's been quite a while since I last updated this blog. I'm actually surprised it took me so long! 

I've been having a little bit of a hard time keeping up with all the work I have. Going to school, working a few jobs, maintaining a social life, I found out that it's not that easy. 

 

Especially since I spent the last couple of weeks teaching English and history, I just found that 24 hours in a day sometimes aren't enough. Teaching, preparing, reflecting at the end of the lesson, it has kept me pretty busy and maybe I should have planned a little better.

It might still happen in the next couple of months that sometimes I miss a day but I will try to keep posting.

So yeah, I wanted to explain why I've been gone and I'm definitely back!
