Trending: Winged eyeliner + step by step photo tutorial

Hi everyone!
I don't know if you have heard it, but one of the spring/summer trends when it comes to beauty is winged eyeliner.

Winged eyeliner is a part of my signature look and I always get lots of questions about it, so today I'm going to show you how you can do winged eyeliner. To help you, I've made a photo tutorial. To do this I have used my black gel eyeliner by Essence called "Midnight in Paris" and a small eyeliner brush. You can use pencil liner or liquid liner to do this as well (but gel eyeliner is a bit easier)!

The size of the wing and the thickness of your eyeliner is totally up to you. I like to change it up from time to time, sometimes I'll only have a thin line and sometimes I'll have a pretty big wing.

This is my eye without anything on it.

The first thing I'm doing is to draw on a "normal" line. You can pull your eye for this step if that makes it any easier for you. I like to start in the middle and line the outer half first. Then I go back and line the inner part as well. (You can see this in the next picture as well).

To make the wing, you basically just need to follow the line of your lower lashline.

Draw the line and then connect it to the end of the lower lashline. Now you have the two lines that make your wing: one connected to the line you made on your upper lashline and one connected to your lower lashline. You can always go over it to make it look more smooth. Fill in the parts that aren't black (enough) yet.
In case you go wrong, just take a Q tip with makeup remover on it so that you can wipe the eyeliner off. You can also just use the Q tip to make the edges of your eyeliner sharper.

And that's it! You're done! It's not as hard as it seems, after trying a few times you'll be able to do it pretty quickly! I hope you enjoyed my tutorial!

Have a good day!

Maybelline FIT me foundation swatches + review

Hi guys!
Yes, as you can read in the title, I did break my makeup challenge. I finished two foundations and got another one. The only reason I did this is because I have been suffering from acne again recently and I prefer covering it up a little bit.
So yes, I got a new foundation. It's called "Fit me" and it's by Maybelline. I'm pretty pale so I got nr 115, which is the lightest colour, I believe.
This foundation has SPF 15.
I do like this foundation, you don't need a lot and it covers good. I do still need to use concealer after applying foundation so it's not like it's a miracle product but it's good for a drugstore brand foundation.

The foundation has silicones in it, so people with sensitive skin might want to be careful with this. Silicones can make you break out easily. I haven't had more problems than usual with my skin.

This is the amount that comes out if you pump it once.

And this is how it looks if you rub it open, I use a makeup primer first and then I work with a makeup sponge to blend it all in.

Have a good day!

1 day, 5 scents!

Hi everyone!
This morning I got up early to test five perfumes. I got a box with 20 scents in it and today I'm going to review the five scents that are in the "floral-fruity-sensual" category. All of the perfumes are by LR.

The first scent I tried was "Santorini". When I sprayed it, I knew that this scent smelled very familiar. It reminded me of that smell when you open a bubble blower. A bit soapy, I guess. Not my favourite smell...

The second one I tried was called "Beauty Queen", I did like this one. It's not a girly scent, I can imagine adult women wearing it. Also I didn't think it smelled very fruity, but it didn't smell horrible. I can live with this.

"The collection -01- Eau de style" is the third perfume I tried. I did like this one very much, it's fresh, fruity and youthful.

The next scent might be a bit overwelming to a few of you, but again, I liked it. It's called "Heart and Soul". It's very very sweet and fruity (I was so surprised by the scent that it almost made me sneeze). This scent is very girly and fresh, it's fun! I think this is a fun scent for spring!

"Pseudonym" is one of my favourites as well. I can see both teenage girls and adult women wearing this. It's fruity and girly but not too overwelming. Classy.

Weekly Diary

Hi everyone!
Since I'm not going to be here tomorrow (I will be celebrating carnival) I'm going to do my weekly diary today! Today was a fun week, we celebrated 100 days at school (more about that in another post, I'm still waiting for the pictures that were taken back then).
Also, this week I've discovered two of the most amazing songs. "Just give me a reason" by Pink and "When I was your man" by Bruno Mars. I know they're probably super popular already and I'm just behind in the news but wow...

I wore this dress this week (for the first time) and holy moly, I'm crazy about it! I'm ordering a few other swing dresses for this summer!

We were talking about reincarnation the other day in class and it reminded me of a phoenix. Which reminded me of magic. And Harry Potter.

If you've read my blog for a while, you'll know that I'm crazy about vintage ladies and pin-up girls. I've been obsessing over Katy Perry's "Thinking of you" for a while now and I keep on finding amazing pictures! Look!

Yes, I did it. I got myself a foundation. I know I was doing the challenge, but still. I didn't want to walk around with a face full of acne without having a chance to cover it up, so I broke my promise and I failed the challenge.
Anyways, I'm going to continue and I'm going to try to empty six other products (five that I still had to do and one extra because I got one makeup item, to play fair).

How was your week?

Hey guys, today I'm writing my 100th post! I'm going to show you what I have on my makeup wishlist. Most of the products that I have on this wishlist are high end products, products that I would like to save up for. A lot of them are also beauty must-haves.

The Urban Decay Naked Palette is a very wanted, popular high end makeup palette. There are a few variations of the product (Naked2,...)
I don't have this yet because I don't have a Sephora close to my home and I'd like to save up a little bit more before I decide to get it (it's quite expensive).

I have been wanting the MAC Russian Red lipstick for a really long time. It looks absolutely fabulous.
There are a lot of different colours I'd like to try from MAC, but this is my nr #1.

The BH Cosmetics 120 colours palette is one of my most wanted things. Look at all those different, gorgeous colours! Great quality (perfect pigmentation) and the price is rather cheap. I've been wishing for this for years and years and years. It's also a great way to build your collection. However, if you prefer not to buy 120 colours all at once, you can always get the 88 palette. It's thesame, but there are less different variations of each colour.
