Happy Monday everyone!
Hope the Monday Blues aren't too bad today! I just got back from a holiday in Malaga and I'm so happy to be able to spend some time by myself and with my family.
I love the job I do but the truth is it can get a little overwhelming sometimes- so spending some time at home is never a bad thing.
For the first time in quite a while I have had the time to go explore and discover new make-up items, watch new tutorials and get creative myself.
Today I didn't paint my face, I decided to paint my nails. It's been a while since I've done this because my nails have been very weak since I was a kid (I used to bite them like crazy) but I've overcome that nasty habit and they are longer and stronger than I could ever hope for.
I don't mind nailpolish drawing attention to my hands now.
The nailpolish that I used today is by Essence. If you've kept up with my blog (or my Instagram) in the past, you'll know that I'm absolutely crazy about Essence nailpolishes.
They have all kinds of cute colours, they're very affordable and they are gorgeous. Today's colour is called "My Love Diary". It's pink, but not too bright or childish looking.
Appropriate for work and playful at thesame time. I love it!
I decided to apply some glitter nailpolish from NYX on my ringfinger - it's a cute little detail. Which colours have you been loving? What's your favourite brand for nailpolishes?
Have a good day!

Manicure Monday: Eclectic blue
Goodmorning everyone! Welcome to Manicure Monday!
This week has been incredibly hot and although I'm not a big fan of the heat, I am a big fan of the sun. I love waking up in a room where the sun peaks through the curtains already, I love seeing ladies in floral skirts and with a big hat on when I look out of my apartment window. I love how everyone is in a good mood when the sun's out and I love how vibrant everything looks.

This week's manicure is very vibrant as well. I got a new Essence nail polish called "Eclectic Blue", which looks like the sky on a summerday.
Not bad if you ask me! I have reviewed plenty of Essence nail polishes and thesame counts for this one: This nailpolish is very affordable (€1.69) and two or three layers will give you the perfect coverage. If you're in water for a long time though, they will flake.

I hope you enjoyed this post! See you soon!
Have a lovely Monday!

Manicure Monday: Masked ball
Happy Monday everyone!
Remember the limited edition nailpolishes that I got from Essence a couple of weeks ago? I got two shades of purple and the lightest one, which I already tried in my review, really surprised me (in a good way).
I hadn't tried the darkest colour, called "A masked ball", and I was really excited. So last night, I used this nailpolish to do my nails with.
I applied two layers.
I wish the nailpolish looked a little more purple because now it just looks like a really dark grey/black-ish nailpolish, which is not what I was expecting but it's okay.
Everything else is just like it should be, good quality, good coverage, nice texture. I like it!
Thanks for reading!
Have a good day!

Manicure Monday ♥ Be berry!
Hello everyone!
Today's post is a litte different, I have a Manicure Monday for you guys!
I rarely post Manicure Monday's because I don't like my nails (I used to bite my nails for years and years) but it's been almost a month and I haven't touched them.
I'm quite happy (and proud!) and I decided a little bit of nailpolish would be nice!
I used a colour by Essence called "Be berry now". This colour is just a lovely summer colour and I instantly get happy when I see it!
This colour is from Essences Colour&Go line, and it's basically really cheap. I think you pay about €1.69 for a nailpolish.
It covers perfectly with two layers.
I'd say try this one out if you have the chance, I'm a big fan already!
Thanks for reading!

Manicure Monday ♥
Hi sweeties! It's been quite a while since I've done a manicure Monday
so today I'm going to change that! For months now, I've been in love
with a drugstore nailpolish. I tried it for the first time about a month
before my exams, when I tried fake nails for the first time. Even
though I had to get used to the nails, I didn't want them off because
the nailpolish I put on them was so beautiful I couldn't keep my eyes
off!
I would
catch a glimps of my nailpolish when I wrote something down in class or
when I was shooting pictures for the blog and it would make me smile.
It's the little things that make me happy or that give me a good
feeling, and this nailpolish did too, it made me feel beautiful!
This nailpolish is by Essence, it's
from the Colour&Go line. The colour is called "The boy next door".
It's a marine/dark blue (I used flash in the pictures so it looks
brighter and you can see the glitter better, in real life you don't
really see it) and the nailpolish covers in one layer but I always put
two on just to be sure.
Aside from all that, do you know what's best? It's super cheap!
Thanks for reading!
Hope you're having a lovely day!

Manicure monday #1
Hello everyone! Today I have a manicure Monday for you.
As you probably know if you've been following my blog for a while, you'll know that I'm in love with the vintage/ pin-up style.
One thing that I've wanted to try for a long time is the half moon manicure - you might know this from style icon Dita Von Teese, she wears it a lot too! I finally managed to do it one or another way! Take a look with me?

I'm wearing fake nails in these pictures, I like fake nails because my natural nails always break (they're so weak) and using stick-ons hide my nails (and can't make them break).
The colour that I used on my nails is "Do you speak love" by Essence, which is a perfect colour for winter and the holidays. I think the colour looks very classy and sassy!
What do you think?
Thanks for reading! Make a stranger smile!
