OOTD: My ray of light!

Belgium was the warmest place in Europe last week, and boy, have we noticed!
We had a couple of holidays, which means that most of us spent 4 or 5 days at home and had the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful weather (and each other's good moods that came with it)!

I, unfortunately, wasn't one of them. I didn't have to go to school, but I did end up working. We'd had a couple of extremely hot days before so I decided to keep my outfit basic and short! Here's what I wore!

I wanted to get a tan (because so far, I think I look like milk), so I wore some high waisted shorts. These feel so 1950s and I'm so happy I got them! They are burgundy and come with a tiny belt with gold detailing.
My shirt was white, as well as my shoes.

My bag was black and white with some gold detailing (it's a Michael Kors knock-off).

I also wore my favourite gold watch from Claire's and a bracelet with pearl detailing (I got this online from Six, but you can find similar jewellery at H&M).

I kept my accessories quite minimal. I did end up adding this cute necklace, I got this one at Claire's I think - this actually used to be one of my tattoo ideas! I still absolutely love the infinity symbol and the heart intertwined, it's just not going on my body (or at least, not now).

Have a lovely day!

OOTD

Hey you guys!
Happy Wednesday! How are you doing?
I'm sorry for not updating the blog these past few days, college is quite busy sometimes! I have an outfit of the day for you today!

This dress is probably my favourite dress of all times, I got it online and I just think it's so, so beautiful! I love the colar and the "marine theme" of this dress. Makes me so happy!
I decided not to put on too much accessories, just my watch and some pearl earrings - since this dress is an eyecatcher on its own. I would love a little delicate, pearl necklace, but I don't have one right now, so I'm going to have to work on that.

On days when I go to school I usually take my black handbag with me (because I don't have a white or beige one), but when going to the mall, I like to pair this with a blue Chanel look-a-like purse!
When I go to school I always wear ballet flats, but when going out or hanging out with friends, I like to wear white Mary Jane pumps underneath this dress.
Elegant!

OOTD: Pastel Perfect

Hello everyone!
How have you guys been doing? Today I have an outfit of the day for you! I actually wore this outfit last week, when the weather was still good.
Right now, there's a whole lot of rain, a lot of thunder and lightening (which I'm not a big fan of... like, AT ALL) so I'll probably have to stop wearing skirts and dresses for a while.

Anyway, in this outfit I'm wearing I have on a burgundy T-shirt that you (unfortunately) can't see. Over top, I'm wearing a white cardigan. I paired that with my pastel blue skirt (which also has burgundy, light pink and green details in it) and my light beige ballet flats.

OOTD: Parrot ♥

Hello everyone! How have you been doing?

Once again, I have an outfit of the day post for you guys. I know this is not as much fun as it used to be because you always see thesame white wall in the background,
but I don't have my "photographer" (aka sister) here with me now that I live alone and I can't go outside and put my camera on timer because I'm pretty sure it'd get stolen while I wast trying to take a picture.

Okay so today I wore a babyblue dress with parrots on it. This is a halter dress, which is perfect for this kind of weather, it's still quite hot outside!
I got it online (on Topvintage.nl).
I put my beige cardigan over it. This one is from H&M. I tied it in a knot so it wouldn't be too long and take away the "wow" effect of my dress. I quite like how this turned out to be honest! My nude ballet flats are by H&M as well. My watch is from New Look.

I like this look a lot, what do you think about it?

OOTD: Spring is coming!

Hello everyone!
Spring is here and I'm so excited, it's so nice and warm outside. Time for dresses again! I have a little outfit of the day for you. I took this pictures in the house before I went to a friend to celebrate his birthday.

I got my dress from Topvintage. I have said it before and I will say it again: I love their dresses. They are so  comfortable and beautiful! Oh, and also very va-va-voom!
I put a few flowers in my hair for more pin-up "feel", these are by H&M. My make-up is based on this tutorial (click here) and my lipstick is "Russian Red" by MAC.

I love this look!

Manicure monday #1

Hello everyone! Today I have a manicure Monday for you.
As you probably know if you've been following my blog for a while, you'll know that I'm in love with the vintage/ pin-up style.

One thing that I've wanted to try for a long time is the half moon manicure - you might know this from style icon Dita Von Teese, she wears it a lot too! I finally managed to do it one or another way! Take a look with me?

I'm wearing fake nails in these pictures, I like fake nails because my natural nails always break (they're so weak) and using stick-ons hide my nails (and can't make them break).

The colour that I used on my nails is "Do you speak love" by Essence, which is a perfect colour for winter and the holidays. I think the colour looks very classy and sassy!

What do you think?

OOTD: Different

Hi! How are you doing?

I have another outfit of the day for you! I was in the mood to wear my newest skirt so I decided to make it a rockabilly/pin-up look. Why not? I'm very satisfied with how I looked, I think it was so cute. I also went to some stores and you wouldn't believe how much everyone was looking. I don't know if it's a good or a bad thing, but I don't really mind. As long as I am happy...

Are you ready to see the outfit? Keep on scrolling...

The skirt and shoes are from New Look. My T-shirt is by H&M and my bag is real vintage. My bandana is from a local shop - you can find this anywhere really - and my glasses are brand new! I just got them a few minutes before taking these pictures. They're by C&A, which is a store that is available in Belgium and the Netherlands, but I'm not sure if there are any other countries. I'm quite lucky because I have a very annoying face shape so sunglasses normally don't fit me, but this model is just right! Ah, finally I'm being rewarded, haha!

This is my absolute favourite picture (below)!
