H&M eyeshadow stick review

I love H&M. Unfortunately, the H&M close to me doesn't have a lot of beauty products to offer. Or they are sold out a lot of the time.
In Prague, I got a bunch of beauty products that I didn't get my hands on here! Today I'll be showing you my H&M eyeshadow sticks.

Ik heb drie kleurtjes gehaald: "Black", "Brown" and "Pink". I like the packaging, but I think the names are just boring. What can I say? I love a good name for a make-up product.
The eye pens can be used on your eyelid, but it can also be used as a base for eyeshadow.

As you can see, the pigmentation of this product is just fine, I think the colours are really pretty. I just don't get why they called the lightest colour "pink", I myself think it looks champagne, but that's fine. The eye pens are very smooth and creamy, which makes it easy to apply, but it makes it also easy to blend out the edges a little bit. I prefer using a special haired concealer brush rather than a normal flat brush though.

PS This black is PER-FECT for smokey eyes!

Catrice Pure Shine colour lipbalm

You guys know I'm crazy about lipproducts. I recently got a new lipproduct: the Pure Shine Colour lip balm by Catrice. This is kind of like a big lip pencil (well I don't know the right name for it, I hear so many names all the time).

I think the packaging of this product looks good. The silver is a bit risky because it could end up looking cheap, I've always prefered black, but it's actually pretty.

The colour that I got is "My Cherry Berry". I think that's such a cute name, I love it!

This is what it looks like. It's actually a little darker than my lips but it still looks natural. I wear this on the days that I don't want to wear lipstick. I mean, it's still a nice colour, it's just not that obvious and it doesn't get on your teeth.

Swatch! As you can see, the lipbalm is a bit sheer, which I don't mind because I expect lip pencils/lipbalms to be that way. Of course you can build up the intensity of the colour.

And this is how the product looks on my lips. Pretty, huh?

I'm totally excited and really amazed by this product. I think it's awesome; it looks good and it's not expensive. A big "yay" to Catrice, I will for sure collect more of these.

H&M (huge) makeup palette review

I love H&M. It's my favourite place to get trendy yet inexpensive items. The H&M close to my home probably only exists because I shop there so regularly. Okay, no, now I'm overreacting. But do you understand how much I love H&M now?

The only problem is that the H&M that we have here, never has the palettes, coloured eyeliners or makeup key chains that the big ones do have, so when I go to a big city, I always check there first. I've told you before that I went to Brussels last week and there they had a H&M. With makeup!
I got this huge, 24 colours palette. I saw it last year when I went to Paris but I didn't get it back then, and ever since, I've been thinking about it.

Like I said, this palette holds 24 colours, which is quite a lot! Browns, purples, blues, greens, greys, it's all in there. This palette can come in very handy! Not only at home, when you're starting out with makeup, I also think I would take this with me if I was going on a holiday. Enough choice for a different look everyday and the only thing you have to bring is this palette.
It also comes with two sponge applicators.

The colours up close:

The pigmentation of this palette isn't really outstanding. It's not like you can compare it to MAC quality, unfortunately. The darker colours are very well pigmented but the lightest colours could have used a little bit more pigmentation.
The good news is that the colours are very buildable and if you just take some time to apply them, you can get a very beautiful look! Be careful for the fall out though!

Essence all about matt fixing compact powder review

Hello you guys, today I'm reviewing one of my newest powders. I'm talking about my Essence matt fixing powder. I was doubting a little bit when I first saw it on a beauty blog but I got it and tested it anyway.

The packaging is quite simple. See through plastic with hot pink letters on it. To be honest, I don't care at all how the packaging of a powder looks. It is important with products like lipstick, eyeshadow or blush (sometimes), but it's not like I judge the look of my powder that much. Same here with this powder. Less is more!

I'm just going to say it: I love this powder. Just like me, a lot of people could be doubting about getting this powder because they're afraid it's going to make them look white(r). For me that's not a problem but the colour of the powder won't be a problem for anyone - it doesn't show up.

The fact that this powder is white is actually really good. A lot of people may think "I don't want to look like a ghost" but you don't see the white colour on your face.
It just abs orbs the oil from your face and my T-zone tends to get oily so this will help me to solve the oil problem - it's also handy if you just went for a run or if it's really hot outside and you're sweating a little bit.

Also, most of the other powders I have are skintoned, but when looking closely, you can always find stains or spots where there is more powder than somewhere else and I just don't like it if you can see the powder. At all. I don't want it to be seen at all, which is again why this powder is so nice.

So yes, I do really like this powder, I think it does a great job. It doesn't show up, yet it does absorb the oil, which is exactly what I want.
I just started using this one but if I ever run out of it, I'm already pretty sure I will repurchase!
