OOTD: Different

Hi! How are you doing?

I have another outfit of the day for you! I was in the mood to wear my newest skirt so I decided to make it a rockabilly/pin-up look. Why not? I'm very satisfied with how I looked, I think it was so cute. I also went to some stores and you wouldn't believe how much everyone was looking. I don't know if it's a good or a bad thing, but I don't really mind. As long as I am happy...

Are you ready to see the outfit? Keep on scrolling...

The skirt and shoes are from New Look. My T-shirt is by H&M and my bag is real vintage. My bandana is from a local shop - you can find this anywhere really - and my glasses are brand new! I just got them a few minutes before taking these pictures. They're by C&A, which is a store that is available in Belgium and the Netherlands, but I'm not sure if there are any other countries. I'm quite lucky because I have a very annoying face shape so sunglasses normally don't fit me, but this model is just right! Ah, finally I'm being rewarded, haha!

This is my absolute favourite picture (below)!

Thanks for reading! Have a very nice day!

NEW IN: hair care and and colour explosion!

Hi! I have another mini haul for you! Let's start by saying I forgot to put one item in the photograph because my sister had it in her bag (mine wasn't big enough). It's a hair repair hair mask by Schwarzkopf. I got it because my hair has always been a bit dry, but going back to blonde didn't give my hair a boost so...
I really want to do the best I can and keep it healthy.

Next I got another hairspray for when I decided to make another hair do. This is just the drugstorebrand, nothing exciting really.

I also got an Essence nailpolish. Lately, I've been buying more nailpolishes. These last few months I've barely painted my nails but now I'm back into it! The colour that I got is a cute mint green, which I like a lot, and it looks fresh this summer as well!

The last item that I got it a blue mascara by 2B. I was so excited when I heard about coloured mascara's coming back again! I'd been searching for it for a while, and now that I saw it, I had to have it! They also had purple and other colours. I was doubting which one to take at first (since I didn't want to buy 4 mascara's at once) but I decided to go for the blue in the end. Maybe I'll pick up the purple one later!

I also placed an order at eyelipsface (E.L.F.) - so those products should get here soon! I know E.L.F. is a quite cheap but good quality and a very well known brand in beauty world, but for some reason I never got anything.
Maybe that's because I don't like to order makeup online? Oh well, I did for the first time now and I can't wait to get my new stuff delivered! I'll haul that too! (Oh god, I'm buying a lot of makeup again!)

Thanks for reading! Have a nice day!

Back to blonde!

Hello you guys! Today I'm not going to write about beauty or makeup or other things, but about my hair!As you all know, I changed colour quite often this year. Last year during summer I turned 16 and that was the moment that I felt like I was finally old enough to try some new hair colours out. My parents agreed and let me do my thing.

First I went brown, then red-brown-ish (lol, I don't know how to say that in English), next  went for red and later for a dark brown that was so dark it looked like it was black! I loved the colour but it came off quite quickly, pity!

Last week I had three colours in my hair: the tips were still brown, my red was visible again in the middle and my bangs were growing out so those looked blonde. I decided I had enough and I wanted to go back to my natural colour again....

BEFORE

AFTER

I am semi- blonde again! Well, obviously they couldn't strip all the colour at once but I think it's quite a difference already. I didn't think I'd like it but the remaining brown and red in my hair is especially beautiful when in a top knot or ballerina bun! I will continue to bleach it a little bit more and after that I'm back to where I started!

What do you think?

OOTD: Another look at my cherry dress!

Hello everyone! I uploaded an outfit of the day once of me in a cherry dress. Yesterday it was insanely hot outside and while my friends went to the pool, I stayed at home because I don't take heat very well. I did go out for dinner with my friends! We ended up not feeling well - all three of us! Either it was the heat or it was the food. We decided to take it slow and swing a little bit, maybe it would calm us down, you never know. I really did enjoy it and we also took some pictures! Unfortunately I didn't feel any better and for a moment I thought I was going to, you know, right then and there.

I wore my swing dress with cherries from Topvintage. The lipstick that I'm wearing is by Kate Moss for Rimmel London in the colour "111 Kiss of life".

In order to protect my hair (it's been quite dry lately and heat damages it even more), I put it in a bandana so it couldn't be harmed. You can find bandana's in thrift shops, vintage stores, online and so on... I think you can even find them in any local store, if you just look around real good. My bandana is suppost to be a handkerchief - that's what it said on the label. Well, I guess it's multifunctional!

Thanks for reading again today! I hope you're enjoying the weather as well! Don't forget that sunscreen!

Lifestyle: Being thankful for.......

Hello everyone!
Since I always post reviews or hauls about things I bought, I thought today I wanted to post something different. You might not all like to read it but oh well. Today's post is going to be a "being thankful for...", in which I don't talk about items I want, but about things that I'm glad I have already! Isn't that a refreshing idea?

Don't forget to leave a comment with the things that you are grateful for, I'd love to see what you are thankful for.

First of all, I'm glad I have a home. Some place safe. I'm also very glad that in this home, I never have to worry about food - it's often forgotten, but some people really have to worry about what their next meal is going to be and how they're going to get it.

I'm grateful that I'm healthy, that I never have to live in fear of what comes next or what might happen. I'm also thankful that because of that health, I'm able to do a lot of thing such as working, going to school, going out and so on...

I'm thankful for the friends that I can count on. There aren't many people like that out there, people that are always 100% there for you no matter what, I can tell you that, but I'm thankful for the friends I have that are like that.

Another thing that I'm very thankful for is that I can do what I like and that I'm free. I can express myself and I don't have to be afraid. I live in peace.

I'm also thankful that I have the stuff I need for my hobbies. If I want to blog, I have my laptop, if I want to do photography, I have my camera. I do have to work for it myself, but I'm happy I can afford it, I'm happy this is possible for me.

And last but not least, super cheesy, but I'm thankful for having YOU!
