Accessories haul #1 💗

Any fashion blogger or stylist will tell you that basic items are the most important items in your closet. They will also tell you that you should use accessories to spice things up: okay, the trendy accessories do change up from time to time, but they're cheaper to replace. Fashionable clothing items are not so easy to replace (imagine having to buy something from every new collection, sometimes it's just not possible).

I decided to follow my own advice and go shopping for accessories, since I obviously needed some new, fresh items!

You may or may not know this, but I'm a huge fan of statement necklaces. I love the ones that H&M and New Look sell, because they have so many options: there's literally something for everyone (different styles, colours, sizes,..).
Here's what I got!

H&M
I love the necklaces that H&M makes with more than one option. For example this shell necklace, it's so cute, but they give you some more ocean inspired jewels in case you want to change it up!

New Look
So delicate and sophisticated!

Claire's

Claire's is a shop that in my opinion you love or you hate. Some of my friends think it's an awesome shop, others think it's a shop for teenage girls.
I used to go there to get hair grips and such, but after getting my nose pierced, I also tried a couple of their piercings. I never had any problems with the studs and they're quite cheap, so I went back to check out the other piercings they have for sale.
I ended up getting this pack of four with summerproof belly button piercings!

That's it for part one! I have a part two coming up that are a bit more about earrings and ear cuffs. I hope you'll be here to read that too!

Thanks for visiting today!

Claire's hair tools

Happy Saturday!
How are you doing?
I normally never talk about hair on this blog, simply because I'm not good at hair things. I put it in a ponytail or sometimes I put it in a bun, but lately I've been using some hair tools that I want to talk to you about.
They are so good, I can't keep them from you!

The hair tools that I use are from Claire's. Claire's is a little store that has all sorts hair tools, hair flowers, jewellry,...
It's the place where I get all my hair flowers and hair tools from and I just wanted to recommend it to all of you!
The hair flower in my hair in this first picture is by H&M, but the bun is by Claire's.

I also got a vintage roll for that perfect 1940's look.
Of course they have a lot more than this, and it's all for a fairly good price! I'm very very happy with all the hair tools, I love them. It doesn't take me a lot of time and effort (miracle!), and it looks very good!

Thanks for reading!
Have a lovely day!

Claire's makeup palette review

Hi! First of all I wanted to apologize for the late post: bad Internet connections and such...

A while ago I bought myself a new makeup palette. You know how I am with makeup palettes: I can never get enough!
This palette comes in the most adorable packaging ever! It has stripes, dots and bows, I just think it looks lovely and girly!

You can unfold this palette three times. It reminds me of a book a little bit! The first side of the palette holds five brushes and a small mirror.

The middle part is filled with a bunch of beautiful eeshadows in various, beautiful colours. There are twenty colours to pick from!
In the middle, between the eyeshadows, you'll find a blush, bronzer and powder.

On the right side of the unfolded palette, you'll find nothing but lipglosses. This palette holds so many lipglosses, it's hard to choose which one you'd like to wear! There are sixteen rounds, four squares and two tubes to choose from. Dark, bright, subtile, it's all in here!

How about the quality of this palette? I find the eyeshadows extremely beautiful! The pigmentation however could have been a little bit better.
Especially the very light and the very dark colours are pigmented well, the rest not so much. The texture of these eyeshadows is a bit crumbly which means that if you're not careful (enough), you will have fall out on your face.

The brushes that come with this set are useful but not exactly high quality. It's nice to use if you're in a rush or if you're just starting out with makeup and this is your starter kit.

The pigmentation of the lipglosses is better than the pigmentation of the eyeshadows. Even though they are a bit sticky (every lipgloss I own is a bit sticky), they feel smooth and are easy to apply. They also look stunning!

I think the pigmentation of the eyeshadows could have been a little bit better, but overall I'm glad with the rest of the palette. Nice colours, decent quality, affordable. I think I could for sure make it work with this palette. Below, you can find a look I made with this palette!

Thanks for reading! Take good care!
