September favies ♥

Hello everyone!
October is finally here (can you believe it, 2014 is almost over!), so I'm going to talk you though my favourite items of September.

September was a little bit of a weird month for me because I moved out, I started school, for a long time I had no time to experiment with make-up or go make-up shopping.
I did however, rediscover and started loving some items.

Okay so the first favourite of the month is this purple lip duo.
It's "Purple Rain" by NYX and "Violet Crush" by Estée Lauder. These two lipproducts look so good together and I'm also really loving purple/dark/plum lips for this fall.

Eyecatcher!
Another "darker" beautyproduct that I've been loving is this Essence Colour & Go nailpolish in the colour "Be Berry Now!".
As the name suggests, it's a berry colour, which I love. Sexy & sophisticated if you ask me!

Like I said, September was a bit of a weird month for me and I didn't have a lot of time to try out new make-up looks, but there was one thing that I used every single day to make me look that little bit better: my MAC cosmetics pro longwear concealer. This is one thing that I've been loving ever since I got it and I can't imagine not using it.

On days that I have work eyeshadow, I either used my MAC palette or my MUA "Undress me too" palette.
I like my MAC palette for the bright colours, they're real eyecatchers, but my MUA "Undress me too" palette is holds very neutral eyeshadow colours and a couple of gold eyeshadow colours (which I love)!

That's it for this month.
Are there any favourites you'd like to recommend to me?

Have a good day!

August favies ♥

August is over.
Even though I'm a little bit sad, I have found /used a bunch of really lovely products.
Today I'm going to show you my absolute favies!

I bought my Miss Dior perfume at the end of July (as a treat for myself) and I've been using it every single day. It just smells so, so good and it makes me feel really good!

Last month I had to find a replacement for my favourite BB cream of all times, one by Catrice. I decided to try this one by Essence and guess what....
I love it!
It's also oil free which is even more amazing!

This month, I got a giftcard to MAC for my birthday (my friends are THE BEST) and I got me a new palette! OF COURSE this had to be in my favourites! Such beautiful colours!

Summer = highlighter. I'm still loving my highlighter by MAC. This is "Adored".
Which products have you been loving?

Thanks for reading!
Make today a good day!

July favourites

Happy Thursday!
Previously I shared my July empties with you and now I'm going to share my favourites!

Last month, I finally got my hands on MUA's nude palettes called "Undressed" and "Undress me too". I had been looking for them for such a long time and I couldn't be more excited when I found them!

Of course, I'm still obsessing over my newest Color Tattoo by Maybelline. I've said it once and I'm going to keep saying it: these Color Tattoos are amazing and I want as many of them as I can get!
They can be used on their own or they can be used as a base for eyeshadow. I like to use mine on days when I'm in a hurry or when I'm just not in the mood to spend one hour on my make-up!

I'm obsessed with my eyebrows. They need to look perfect at all times. It goes without saying I spend a lot of time on making them look as nice as possible.
This MUA eyebrow set has made my job a lot easier. The set holds three eyeshadow colours and a conealer-ish product which erases mistakes immediately! Budget, but good quality! This set also comes with a mirror, a tiny brush and a tweezer. Love!

Thanks for reading! Enjoy your day!

April favies

April has been a really good month. I've been to Germany, I've been to the Czech Republic, I've had a lot of vacation from school, we've had some good weather.
We've had a lot of new pets at home (six new born guinea pigs, eight new fish, one pregnant cat).
Life has been good!

Aside from all the cool things I got to do this month, I will be showing you my favourite products of this month!

First of all, my newest lip crayon by NYC is one of my newest favourite. My gosh, how much I love it! If you're looking for a really good lip crayon that doesn't cost much, NYC is your brand.

I'm also loving these eye pencils by H&M. I find that they crease a little bit, but I still like the colours. These look lovely on their own, but also are great as a base for eyeshadow.

My newest MAC palette that I got in Prague. OF COURSE. Need I say more?

I've also been wearing this "Forever pink" infaillable eyeshadow by L'Oréal a lot lately. It's such a lovely colour! I wear it to work and to school with a little bit of eyeliner. Perfect.

I've also been loving my newest tools this month! They look good, they work well. What more is there to ask for?

What were your favourite products this month?

March favies ♥

March has been an amazing month.
We all got to see the sun for the first time and I couldn't be happier! I'm glad it's spring, I can't wait for summer. Okay, today I'm going to show you my favourite products that I used for my face and eyes in this beautiful weather.

I'm going to start off with face products. I've started using my ELF blush in "Candid Coral" again. This blush is peachy with golden shimmers in it, it's so cute. I love the colour of the shimmer in the sunlight. It's really pretty and subtile.

I've also been using my MAC mineralize skinfinish in "Adored" a lot again. This mineralize skinfinish is from a limited edition. The special thing about "Adored" is that it has cold (pink, silver) and warm (peach, gold) colours in it. I think it's really beautiful.

For my eyes, I've been in love with gold and orange. I know it's also a spring trend right now to wear orange, which is only a benefit because I keep on falling in love with "Texture" everytime I use it.
The other colours that I use on my eye a lot are "Honey Lust", "Bronze" and "Woodwinked", all by MAC.

To make sure my eyeshadow stays on all day, I use my Essence I ♥ Stage eyeshadowbase. I find that it works pretty well. My eyeshadows are vibrant, they stay on all day, they don't crease, what more can you ask for?
My Essence "Get big lashes" volume boost mascara also helps me to achieve a lovely look on a daily basis. It's a cheap mascara, but it's a good mascara (and I don't get clumbs so yay for Essence).

My last favourite item of March is my Catrice inside eye higlighter pen. I have been using it for weeks now and I love it. If I'm not doing a coloured eyeliner on my waterline, I'm using this one. I like it a lot! It's not as obvious as a white eyeliner would be, but it does help.

Those are my favourite products of March. Which products have stolen your heart last month?
Have a good day!

March favies!

Hello everyone! March is almost over, time for my favourites!

I have gotten a lot of new items this month, a lot of them have become favourites this month as well. Some of them I've had for a long time and I've only started using now. I'll start with face products!

I have been obsessing over the L'Oréal True Match foundation. It really is a great foundation, I am in love with it! The colour is perfect, the coverage is even more perfect. Yep, I'm going to buy this product many more times when I run out of it. I am truely addicted.

Everyone wants a beautiful glow when spring starts, the way this higlighter looks when the sun hits your face, it's just so beautiful. This is my MAC mineralize skinfinish in "Adored" (from a limited edition). It has both cool and warm colours in it, which I think is amazing.

I got this eyeshadow primer just a few weeks ago and I've been using it eversince. Even though it looks a little too dark and too yellow on my eye (because I'm pale), you don't see it when I put eyeshadow over it. And it's cheap and it gets the job done, so I'm 100% satisfied.

I'm also very happy with my Catrice made to stay inside eye higlighter pen. This thing is amazing, it does make you look more awake but it's not as obvious as a white eyeliner would be. I can totally see the difference when I'm not wearing it.

This spring, I've been obsessed with gold for my eyes. When the Essence pigments first came out, I got one called "Smell the caramel" but I never really used it because the colour was so intens and bright, I didn't know how other people would feel about it. I didn't even know how I feel about it. A couple of weeks ago I pulled it out of my make-up drawer and I put it on my desk to use the following day. But I didn't look at it again until I accidentally dropped it and spilled a whole bunch on the floor.

It might sound crazy but again, I was amazed by the pigment and I thought I should start using it! So I did.

Another caramel kind of colour that I've been using a lot lately is "Texture" by MAC. I have incorporated it into my daily make-uplook and I like it! (Want to see my daily make-uplook? Maybe I can do a video or a photo tutorial on it?)

As for my lip products, the colour of those babies have either been really soft and neutral or really bright.
The first favourite is my lip shine by Catrice called "My Cherry Berry", a lovely "my lips but better" shade that isn't too expensive and looks really amazing.

Next I have a super bright, sheer, but so very adorable lipstick from Bourjois. It's called "Famous Fushia" and it's from their Shine Edition. I feared this colour a little bit for a little while (wouldn't it be too bright, too much?) but I finally wore it again and I just felt the confidents coming over me. Sigh, it's so surprising what a lipstick can do to you, haha!

What are some of your favourite products for this month?

February favies ♥

Hello everyone! March just came around, I love it, the sun has been shining today as if it's predicting a lovely spring. I sure do hope so!

Today I want to show you my favourite products of last month.
I'm going to start with my Labello lipbalms. In the beginning of the month it got really cold and I needed my lipbalms every minute of every day.

I know I keep repeating this but my favourite palette of the month is again... My Nude 'Tude palette. I have made so many different looks with it this month! I also used the black for a metal themed outfit and I'm still surprised by the pigment. I knew it was good, but that it was this good...

I've also been loving my new foundation by L'Oréal. I find this to be the best drugstore foundation there is (well, I haven't tested them all but out of the ones I've tested, I'd say this is the winner).

Hello Body Shop! Not only my fruit scented showergels and bodybutters have been absolute favourites, also the chocolate showergel and the limited editions have blown me away!

Another thing that I have been loving this month, that has nothing to do with fashion or beauty, is making bookmarks.
I've made foxes, rabbits, cupcakes, clouds,...
I'm also completely back with my reading. I haven't had lots of time last year but now I finally made some time to start enjoying reading again! Yay!

That's it! Thank you for reading!
Have a lovely day!

December favourites!

December has been the month of not wearing makeup to school because I was having exams (and no one looks good during exams so I didn't put a lot of effort in it either). December has also been the month of trying out different makeup looks for Christmas and New Year's Eve. I (re) discovered quite a few nice products.

The first item is my Maybelline Color Tattoo in "Permanent Taupe", I love this thing! I got it a little before Christmas and I've been using it nearly everyday since then.

I also used my Body Collection a lot in December. I got it a couple of months back but I only used it twice. Until this month, there are a lot of great colours in here for the holidays: gold, black, purple, olive green. Really nice pigmentation!

I also used my ELF 144 piece neutral eyeshadow palette often last month. Like I said, I tried a lot of different looks and almost all of them were created with the eyeshadows from this palette.

And of course I kept using my Nude 'Tude palette. Most of the time I use this palette for my makeup when I go to work. Or just when I need better pigmented colours like the black eyeshadow.

December is the time of the year to wear red lipsticks. Red lipstick is a tradition on Christmas Eve, well, at least it is for me! "Russian Red" by MAC is my favourite red lipstick.

Beauty favies of 2013 !

Hello everyone! Well, tomorrow we will be waking up in a new year! It's so exciting (and a little terrifying too but that's probably just me)!
My last post of 2013 is going to be my beauty favourites. All year I tried different products and I found a lot of products that I liked! I have many more favourites than in this post, but these are my absolute favourites! Time for a little recap!

Face products

Catrice has surprised me very often this year! They have done so well and the quality has gotten better and better. They also had lovely limited editions. I'm absolutely stunned by their foundations. So inexpensive, yet great coverage.  Click here for my review on the All Matt plus foundation.

Need a little more coverage? No problem, because the "Camouflage Cream" by Catrice is the creamiest, best and most inexpensive concealer you'll find in the drugstore. Some compare it to MAC's concealer - only cheaper.

Back when I went to get my "Nude 'Tude" palette by The Balm, I got this blush as a gift. It's a super bright colour but that the way I love it. Very pigmented as well! Here's my review!

Eyeshadows/palettes
I had a lot of favourite makeup palettes, but I have also been loving single eyeshadows. I said it before: Catrice has been rockin' it this year. Their liquid metal eyeshadows have been favourites of mine ever since I got them. Here's my review!

This Nude Tude palette by The Balm is - I think - my absolute favourite palette of this year. Good packaging (really cute, I mean, look at those pin-up girls!), great pigmentation, lots of colours to choose from so even if you just had this palette, you'd be able to make a ton of looks!

Also loving this year: my ELF palettes! These two palettes are amazing! Every colour you will ever need are in these palettes! Click here for the review on my bright palette and click here for the review on my neutral palette!

My Maybelline Color Tattoo has been a favourite as well! Even though I have only had it for a coupe of days, I've used it every single day and I LOVE it. It really sticks like a tattoo!

Lip products

I have so many (red) lipsticks that I wouldn't know which ones to use first. My two favourites were quite hard to pick, but if I had to choose, I would have my Rimmel London Apocalips lip lacquer in "The Big Bang" and my MAC "Russian Red" lipstick ( a really good inexpensive dupe is "Kiss of life" by Rimmel London, I love that one as well!).

Thanks for reading! Have a lovely evening and I'll see you next year!
