EOTD: Electric

Hi! 

I'm back with another eye of the day! Today I have a fun, bright look. I made this look using the Catrice Haute Future eyeshadows that I got last week.

 

I wet my brush to apply the first mint colour. Next I used the purple/brown shade in my crease. To tone the look down a big, I applied a thick black eyeliner with a wing.

For that little extra touch, I applied a purple eyeliner in "Hola, chica". It's by Essence as well!

I'm pretty happy with the way the look turned out. What do you think?

Catrice Haute Future eyeshadows

Hello everyone! Happy Friday! 

 

When I'm at the drugstore, I love to go see what new products Catrice has. A few days ago, I saw that they had a new limited edition called "Haute Future". The eyeshadows looked really good, so I got two.

The packaging of the eyeshadows is so pretty! It's a very futuristic design, I love it! 

I got a green/blue minty colour and a purple colour. The eyeshadows are duochrome.

The green eyeshadow is called "Never Green before".

The purple eyeshadow is called "CO2 iROSEdescent".

Swatches! 

The pigmentation is good, the colours are so beautiful! I find that when I apply them, there is quite a big of fall out, especially when using the mint green eyeshadow because the texture is different.

That's why I like to wet my brush before I use the mint green. It makes the colour more vibrant!

I'm pretty happy with the colours, they look really nice, the pigmentation is good and it's cheap!

OOTD: The long lost outfit of the day!

Hello everyone! 

I'm back with another outfit of the day! I actually shot these pictures about 2 months ago, when I was in Prague. I guess I just never put them on the blog!

In this post I'm wearing a little black dress that I got in Prague. You can't actually see it that well, but

 there's actually a belt attached with a big bow, which accentuates my waist.

I didn't bring any heels in my suitcase so I wore basic, black ballet flats by H&M. My purse is also by H&M. 

 

I'm sorry the pictures are so dark, I hope you liked this long lost outfit of the day night though!

EOTD: Playful!

Hello everyone! 

Summer seems to finally be here and of course, I like to recreate my feelings in my looks. Today I'm obviously feeling happy! 

I used my newest MAC make-up palette to make this look.

 

The colours that I used are "Amber lights" (on the lid), "Humid" in the crease and "Sketch" in the outer corner. 

 

 

I also used a colour close to my skin colour to blend the colours in the crease out and I used a light higlighter. Both of the colours used for that are from my ELF 144 neutral colours palette.

My eyeliner and mascara are by Essence.

Essence all about sunrise eyeshadow palette

Hi everyone! The Essence "all about..." eyeshadow palettes have been a huge trend here in Belgium and the Netherlands, but they never seemed very special to me. So a couple of days ago, I decided I would buy one and see for myself.

I got the "all about sunrise" palette, it looked the prettiest (according to me) and the colours look beautiful with blue eyes!

I was actually really surprised, there's lots of product in this palette.

Swatches! The pigmentation of this palette isn't bad at all! The colours do feel a little bit chunky, but I don't think I'll have any problems with that when I'm applying the make-up.

Do make sure to do your eye make-up before you do your face make-up though, other wise the chunky fall out will ruin your face make-up, it's so hard to get it off without make-up remover!

That's it for today! I recommend getting this palette if you're looking for a cheap palette with good eyeshadows. Don't worry if you don't like the colours, there are other "all about..." palettes available.
